Clinical Study On The Impact Of Group Psychological Intervention For Caregivers On Psychological Status And Quality Of Life Of Stroke Patients And Their Caregivers

Objective:Based on the research of 46 stroke patients and their caregivers,to explore t he effect of group psychotheraphy intervention of caregivers on psychological sta tus and quality of life of stroke patients and their caregivers.Methods:Using randomized clinical trial method,choose stroke patients from November2016 to December 2017 in rehabilitation department of first onset,46 cases met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.after collect their general information,patients and caregivers was randomly divided into two groups(experimental group and control group),group psychological intervention and health education for experimental group,control group only give health education,SCL-90 and SF-36 scale were calculated respectively on the date of admission and discharge,to evaluate the effect of group psychological intervention.Results:SCL-90: After psychological intervention,caregivers in the experimental group experienced significant changes before and after anxiety,depression,and interpersonalsensitivity.There was no significant difference between the two groups before the intervention,and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups after intervention(P<0.05).After the psychological intervention of the control group,the anxiety,depression,interpersonal sensitization,and changes in the hostility of the experimental group were significant.There was no significant difference between the two groups before the intervention,and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups after the intervention(P <0.05).SF-36:Before and after intervention,the energy,body pain,and general health status of the caregivers in the experimental group changed significantly.There was no significant difference between the two groups before the intervention,and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups after intervention(P<0.05).After psychological intervention,the control group experienced significant changes before and after the physiological function,somatic pain,and mental health.There was no significant difference between the two groups before the intervention,and there was a significant difference between the two groups after intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion:group psychological intervention for caregivers not only improve their mental health especially in anxiety and depression,but also enhance their quality of life.correspondingly improving the mental health and quality of life of the stroke patients,especially in their anxiety,depression.provide a new way to the stroke patients recovery.
