Analysis Of Factors Affecting Curative Effect Of Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss

Objective:To analyze the relevant factors that affect the efficacy of sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSHL),providing a strong basis for the diagnosis and treatment of SSHL and establishing a complete evaluation system of curative effect and prognosis.Methods:Clinical data were retrospectively analyzed in 100 unilateral patients of SSHL who were hospitalized in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery of the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University.The factors that may affect the efficacy of SSHL were divided into three parts,including general factors,concomitant symptoms or diseases and related examinations.The general factors include gender,age,sideline and the onset time before treatment;concomitant symptoms or diseases include degree of vertigo,tinnitus,history of cardiovascular disease,history of surgery and incentive;related examinations include auditory function tests(Pure Tone Auditory and Speech Discrimination Score)and vestibular function tests(Video-Nystagmo Graphy and Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials).The clinical data and treatment effects can be grouped using SPSS22.0 statistical software which is using chi-square test and Fisher's exact probability methods for single factor analysis to achieve the purpose of comparison between groups.At the same time,using dichotomous unconditional Logistic regression approach to further evaluate the effect of each relevant factor on the curative effect when other factors were unchanged.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:Univariate analysis showed that the pre-treatment time of general factors,the degree of dizziness of concomitant symptoms or diseases and the SDS,VNG and VEMPs of related examinations were possible risk factors for the efficacy of SSHL(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that the time of onset,SDS,VNG and VEMPs were the risk factors affecting the efficacy of SSHL(P<0.05).Conclusion:Pre-treatment time,speech discrimination score and Video-nystagmo graphy were the influencing factors of the therapeutic effect of SSHL.
