ObjectiveThe survey aims to provide scientific information for the prediction and control of mosquito vectors and rodent vectors by investigating the species composition,the density and the virus infection in Dapeng new district of Shenzhen city.MethodsThe survey concerning mosquito population density and species composition in different habitats were conducted by capturing mosquitoes with trapping lamp method and classification and identification of catches,and these mosquitoes were classified and screened for Japanese encephalitis virus and Dengue virus by RT-RCR from March 2016 to May 2017.In addition,surveillance on the density of Aedes albopictus and larvae in different habitats were implemented using mosquito oviposition trap and breteau index methods from May to October in 2016 and May 2016 to 2017 respectively.From March 2016 to May 2017,the trapping cage method was used to monitor the density of rodents,with collecting the samples of rattus norvegicus and blood by immunological methods to detect antigen and antibody of Hantavirus.ResultsIn total,2736 adult mosquitoes were captured,including Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus,Culex tritaeniorhynchus Giles and Aedes albopictus,Armigeres,Anopheles,with Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus being the dominant species accounting for 88.05%,the average mosquito population density being 10.60 individual per lamp.The density of mosquitoes in the hostel of residential area was the highest;The result of Japanese encephalitis virus for Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus,Culex tritaeniorhynchus Giles,Aedes albopictus and Dengue virus for Aedes albopictus were negative with the method of reverse transcription PCR.Considering different density index on Aedes among investigated habitats,the breteau index,house index,container index in tourist attractions or the residential areas were higher than the park or hospital.The mosquito and oviposition positive index of the park was higher than the hospital.330 rodents were captured which belongs to 3 genera and 7 species,comprising Rattus norvegicus,Rattus flavipectus,Rattus rattus,Mus musculus,Rattus losea,Mus caroli,Rattus nitidus,with Rattus norvegicus,Rattus flavipectus accounting for 52.12% and 32.12% respectively,and the average rodent density being 5.53%.The rodent density of Nan’ao was the highest among these three streets and rodent density in the special industry was higher than the density of the old house village or the residential area.Rattus norvegicus,Rattus flavipectus,Rattus rattus were dominating in the catering,the special farm and the tourist attractions respectively.The antigen for Hantavirus was positive on one rattus flavipectus,and 51 specimens of rat blood for antibody on Hantavirus were positive,so the infection rate was 17.89%(51/285).Except the rattus nitidus,others were positive.ConclusionCulex pipiens quinquefasciatus was the dominant species.In consideration of relatively high mosquito population density in the hostel of residential area and BI in tourist attractions,it should strengthen the surveillance,prevention and control of mosquito vectors.Rattus norvegicus and Rattus flavipectus were the dominant species in Dapeng new district of Shenzhen.The advantage of the rattus flavipectus remains to be monitored.The prevention and control of different habits was focused on the dominant species of rodents.Most of rodents in Dappeng new area were infected with Hantavirus,especially for Rattus norvegicus and Rattus flavipectus,with a wide range of habitat types. |
