Objective:The purpose of this study is to make a comparison between the clinical and coronary angiographic features of female patients and male with acute non ST Segment elevation myocardial infarction and make an analysis of the prognosis factors of those female patients. Methods :210 cases of patients with coronary angiography from January 2011 to January 2017 that received treatment in the Emergency Department and Department of Cardiology at Weihai Municipal Hospital were selected.Among them, there were 58 cases of female-NSTEMI patients and 152 cases of male –NSTEMI patients.Compare the clinical characteristics of male and female patients, and their coronary artery imaging features, complications and differences in hospital mortality and prognosis.A follow-up of 12 mothns of the main adverse cardiovascular events(MACE,including myocardial infarction, heart failure and cardiac death)were evaluate to analyse the risk factors for prognosis. Results :The study showed that the female patients with NSTEMI were significantly older than that of the male patients with NSTEMI(73.101±10.23 vs 61.88 ±2.38,P<0.05),and there was a statistical difference. The BMI of female patients was less than that of male patients(23.86 ± 2.95 vs 26.13± 2.72,P<0.05),the glomerular filtration rate of female patients was worse than male patients(66.16± 28.12ml/min vs 87.97± 24.55ml/min,P<0.05),and the possibility of female patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes was significantly higher than that of the male group(61% vs 43.2%,46% vs 33.5%,P<0.05),and female patients had higher Grace ischemic score(164.45 ±45.63 vs 134.07± 40.78,P<0.05).With female patients, the proportion of three-vessel disease and left main disease was significantly higher than that in the male NSTEMI group(55.2% vs 43.4%,P<0.05).The incidence of MACE in female NSTEMI group was significantly higher than that in male NSTEMI group(28.5% vs 16.5%,P<0.05),and the incidence of death in female NSTEMI group was significantly higher than that in male NSTEMI group(10.4% vs2.6%,P<0.05).The COX regression model found that age,BMI,eGFR,Grace, three andLM disease were predictors of 1 year deaths(P values were less than 0.05).Conclusion:1、The female patients with NSTEMI were usually older than the male patients.2 、 Elderly women with NSTEMI had serious coronary vessels and poor prognosis, especially those with low body mass index, renal insufficiency and high Grace score.
