| Objective To learn the general situation of the turnover intention of staffs in township health centers of Shandong Province,and to explore its influencing factors.Methods Consulting literature,learning the general situation and the research progress of the turnover intention of staffs in township health centers of Shandong Province in order to compile the questionnaire of turnover intention preliminarily.Investigating specialists,studying the main influencing factors and the matter of the turnover intention in order to perfect the questionnaire.Distributing questionnaire,the staffs were chosen from 36 township health centers with stratified sampling and cluster sampling,and surveyed with questionnaire.Results1.The total score of turnover intention of staffs in township health centers of Shandong Province is 2.78±1.00.2.With the method of descriptive analysis,getting on well with leaders and colleagues,having more opportunities to train,being pleased with job overall,managing in impartial and democratic,being short of understanding and supporting are the highest scores in general situation of the turnover intention of staffs.The scores respectively are3.98±0.70,3.96±0.73,3.90±0.73,3.69±0.90 and 3.40±1.21.Being unequal to working,being bond with family,working monotonous,complete facility,unsatisfactory surroundings are the lowest scores.The scores respectively are 1.93±0.73、2.13±0.73、2.4±1.00、2.52±1.06、2.62±1.06。3.With the method of correlation analysis,the complete facility is negatively correlated to turnover intention(P<0.01)in the dimension of working,and other itemsare positively correlated to turnover intention(P<0.01).Having more opportunities to train and moral encouragement are negatively correlated to turnover intention(P<0.01)in the dimension of self-development,and other items are positively correlated to turnover intention(P<0.01).Getting on well with leaders and colleagues and being pleased with job overall are negatively correlated to turnover intention(P<0.01)in the dimension of external environment,and other items are positively correlated to turnover intention(P<0.01).Being satisfied with payment,benefits and managing in impartial and democratic are negatively correlated to turnover intention(P<0.01)in the dimension of organizational leadership,and lacking scope for their abilities is positively correlated to turnover intention(P<0.01).4.With the method of single factor analysis,the variance of staffs’ turnover intention has statistical significance in region,gender,education background,title,station,monthly income and in the dimensions of working,self-development,external environment and organizational leadership(P<0.05).5.With the method of multiple stepwise regression analysis,the factors of region,blurring prospect in career,being short of understanding and supporting,being bond with family,lacking scope for their abilities,being satisfied with payment and managing in impartial and democratic had significant influence on the turnover intention(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The staffs have a high turnover intention in township health centers of Shandong Province.2.The turnover intention of staffs in township health centers of Shandong Province had a remarkable correlation with the dimensions of working,self-development,external environment and organizational leadership.3.Region,lacking scope for their abilities,being bond with family,blurring prospect in career,being satisfied with payment,managing in impartial and democratic and being short of understanding and supporting are the main influencing factors of the turnover intention. |
