| Objective The research group tried to treat xeroma by the method of replenishing Qi,nourishing Yin,and promoting blood circulation,collected the cases and observed the therapeutic effects.Methods It sorted out 60 patients(120 eyes)since December 2016 to October 2017 up to the standard of this research,and randomly divided them into treatment group(group A)and contrast group(group B),with 30 cases(60 eyes)each.Group A group took orally self-made basic decoction addition,2 times/d.The medicine composition: dried rehmannia root 24 g,raw astragalus 20 g,ophiopogon japonicus 24 g,angelica 18 g,Chinese wolfberry 15 g,cornel 12 g,raw dioscorea 12 g,chrysanthemum 15 g,fructus leonuri 12 g,for liver heat,plus tree peony bark 12 g,semen celosiae 12 g and radix curcumae 12 g;for blood stasis,plus tree peony bark 12 g,red-rooted salvia 18 g and curcuma zedoary 10 g;for dampness heat,plus raw coix seed 20 g and alisma orientale juzep 20 g.Usage: Put in automatic decocting machine with appropriate amount of water,soak them for 30 minutes,then decoct and pack them.Group B used polyethylene glycol(PEG)eye drops(Systane Ultra Lubricant Eye Drops)1-2 drops every time,4-5 times per day,in 30 days of continuous treatment.Observe and compare the subjective symptoms,TCM syndrome classification level and HRT,breakup time of tear film(BUT),fluorescence staining,meibomian gland analysis,lipids layer analysis,pinkeye analysis and other indicators between the two groups of patients before the treatment,2 weeks,1 month and 2 months after the treatment.We record the data with Excel 2016,make statistical analysis with SPSS 22.0,and process pictures with Excel 2016 and Graph Pad Prism 5.02.Results The comparison of the TCM symptom score efficacy index between the two groups of patients after the treatment indicates that the efficacy of group A was better than that of group B.The group comparison has statistical significance(P<0.05).The result indicates that the symptoms of the HRT and corneal fluorescence staining of both two groups are significantly improved after the treatment.The group comparison has no statistical difference(P>0.05).The result of BUT indicates that the BUT of both two groups were significantly improved after the treatment,but the group comparison of BUT between the two groups has statistical difference(PF=0.036,PAVE=0.015).1 month after the treatment,the increasing trend of BUT of the TCM treatment group was greater than the western medicine group,and the average BUT reached the maximum value.The group comparison has statistical significance(PF=0.041,PAVE=0.00).The reexamination 2 months after the treatment indicates that the BUT of two groups both decreased,and in decreasing trend,but the increasing trend and amplitude of t F and tave of group A were still obviously greater than group B.The group comparison has statistical significance(PF=0.009,PAVE=0.006).The result of redness analysis indicates that the symptoms of both groups were improved within 30 days after treatment,and the group comparison has statistical difference(P<0.05).The reexamination 2 months after the treatment indicates that both groups had a certain recurrence rate,and the group comparison has no statistical difference(P>0.05).The results of meibomian gland analysis indicates that there was no obvious improvement for both two groups after the treatment,and the group comparison has no statistical difference(P>0.05).The result of the of tear film lipids layer distribution indicates that the group comparison after the treatment has statistical difference(P<0.05).The results of group comparison of tear layer lipids layer thickness indicates that the group comparison between the two groups has statistical difference(P<0.05).According to the analysis on ophthalmic difference,the total effective rate of group A is 81.67 %;the total effective rate of group B is 55.00 %;group A is better than group B,and the group comparison between the two groups has statistical difference(P<0.05).According to the analysis on case quantity,group A is 76.67 % and group B is 36.67 %.Group A is better than group B,and the group comparison between the two groups has statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The oral decoction of replenishing Qi,nourishing Yin,and promoting blood circulation can improve the tear secretion,increase tear film problem stability,reduce corneal exposure time,then repair of corneal epithelium cells for achieving the goal of relieve the symptoms of Xeroma.The oral decoction of replenishing Qi,nourishing Yin,and promoting blood circulation in clinical application is effective for the treatment of xeroma,and the curative effect is better than polyethylene glycol(PEG)eye drops.The method of replenishing Qi,nourishing Yin,and promoting blood circulation has great value in clinical application and research prospect. |
