Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of autologous platelet-rich plasma(PRP)in the treatment of chronic wounds. Methods:From January 2016 to December 2017,64 patients with chronic wounds admitted to the Burn Department of Gansu Provincial People’s Hospital were randomly divided into a control group treated with conventional methods and a PRP group treated with PRP,with 32 patients in each group. The healing time, granulation tissue vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)content,VAS pain scores, and clinical curative effect were compared between the two groups, and the effects of two different methods on treating chronic wounds were analyzed. Results:The wound healing time in PRP group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the content of VEGF in the granulation tissue of the wounds of both groups increased, and the PRP group had a greater improvement and better treatment effect(P<0.05).After treatment, the pain score of VAS(Visual analogue scale),increased in the control group, and the pain score of the PRP group decreased(P<0.05).The effective rate of PRP group(75.0%)was higher than that of the control group(68.8%).Conclusions:Compared with conventional treatment,PRP has a better clinical effect on the chronic wound.Because it is simple to operate and has less damage to the body,it has higher clinical and social benefits and is worthy of promotion. |
