Objective:Through the continuous subcutaneous injection of insulin on acupoints,to further observe the improvement of blood glucose and quality of life in patients with type 2diabetes mellitus.Exploring the feasibility and efficacy of this method in clinical application. To provide a new method and basis for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:72 subjects with type 2 diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into two group,36 cases in the treatment group and others in the control group. Before entering the group, subjects were instructed and advised on the individualized diet, exercise and psychology. The treatment group was given continuous subcutaneous injection of insulin on acupoints, while the control group was treated with non meridian and non acupoints. The same insulin pump was used in both groups, and the acupoints were replaced every 7 days. This test baseline period was 2 weeks and the treatment time was 8 weeks. The following outcome measurements were assessed in two groups before treatment, after treatment and during follow-up: FBG,P2 hBG,pre-sleep glucose, insulin dosage, diabetes symptom scale and Diabetes Specific Quality of life(DSQL).Result:(1)Baseline data: Gender, age, course of the disease,course,FBG,P2 hBG,pre-sleep glucose, insulin dosag and diabetes symptom scale, showed no statistical significance. They were comparable. The DSQL was similar in terms of physiological, psychological, social, and therapeutic effects in four different dimensions(P>0.05).(2)Inner group comparison: after treatment in treatment group, comparison between FBG,P2 hBG,pre-sleep glucose, insulin dosag, the diabetes symptom scale and the DSQL in four different dimensions, differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The control group comparison between FBG,P2 hB,diabetes symptom scale and the DSQL Grevealed statistical significance(P<0.05);comparison betweenpre-sleep glucose, insulin dosag, showed no statistical significance(P>0.05).(3)Inter group comparison: After treatment, the treatment group was superior to the control group in aspect of the total scores of blood glucose, insulin dosag, diabetes symptom scale and the DSQL(P < 0.05).(4)Total effective rate: The effective rate of the treatment group was 76.47%,respectively,and the control group was respectively 69.70%,showed no statistical significance(P>0.05).(5)Security:There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Continuous subcutaneous insulin injection on acupoints and and non meridian non acupointscan effectively reduce the FPG,P2 hBG,diabetes symptom scale, and from the physiological, psychological, social, therapeutic effects improve the quality of life in patients with treatment of four dimensions. The treatment group had a significant effect on lowering blood glucose, reducing insulin, improve the clinical symptoms and QOL.Obviously the treatment group superior to the control group, and without hypoglycemia reation, the new ideal of type 2 diabetes mellitus treatment is further expanded through acupuncture therapy, which is worthy of clinical application. |
