| Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of Daitian Xuanhua Daochi Powder in treating HFMD(heart and spleen accumulation fever)in children.Methods: 60 children who met the diagnostic criteria of hand,foot and mouth disease(heart,spleen and fever)were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.30 Patients in treatment group were treated by oral administration of Daitian Xuanhua Daochi Powder decoction.In the control group,30 cases were treated with Jinlian Qingre effervescent tablet.The signs of hand,toe,oral cavity,fever and 9 items of TCM syndromes were used as clinical observation indexes.To evaluate the improvement of TCM syndromes and scores before and after treatment in the treatment group and the control group after 2 days and 4 days and 6 days,respectively,and to evaluate the clinical effect after the treatment..Results: 13 cases were cured,9 cases were effective,4 cases were effective,4 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 86.67 in the oral treatment group,7cases were cured,6 cases were effective and 6 cases were effective in the control group.The total effective rate was 63.33.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After 6 days of clinical observation,compared with the control group,the total scores of herpes,herpes color,oral pain,dryness of the mouth,urine and syndromes in the treatment group were all less than 0.05,which had statistical significance.Therefore,compared with the control group,the treatment group for the above indicators more excellent relief.Conclusion: The treatment of HFMD(heart and spleen accumulation fever)with Tianhua Daochi Powder and Jin Lian Qingre effervescent tablet is effective,but the effect is better on behalf of Tiantian Xuanhua Daochi Powder,which indicates that the substitute days Tiantian Xuanhua Daochi Powder is an effective prescription for the treatment of children’s HFMD of heart and spleen accumulation heat type.It is superior to Jinlian Qingre effervescent tablets in improving fever,number of herpes,color of herpes,oral pain,irritability of heart,dry mouth,short red urine and dry stool. |
