Objective The study was to compare the clinical features、diagnosis、clinicopatholigical characteristics、treatment and prognosis between adenosquamous carcinoma(ASC)and adenocarcinoma(AC)of the uterine cervix by retrospective study. Methods The clinical and pathological data of 25 cevical adenosquamous carcinoma patients and 106 cervical adenocarcinoma patients from October 2012 to October 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. Results There was no significant difference between ASC and AC in clinical manifestations(P>0.05).The rates of smooth cervical in physical examination were in AC group were significantly higher than those in ASC group(P<0.05).The diagnosis accuracy for pre-treatment pathological type was significantly lower in ASC group than in AC group(P<0.05).The proportion of deep muscular invasion and that of poorly-differentiated tumors was higher in ASC group than in AC group, with statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The 2-year overall survival rate was 91.0%in the patients with adenosquamous carcinoma of the cervix and 92.2%in the patients with cervical adenocarcinoma. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of recurrence and overall survival(P>0.05),Conclusion Patients with adenosquamous carcinoma and adenocarcinoma have similar clinical features and outcomes.ASC behaves more aggressive than dose AC and pathological high risk factors are more common in ASC of cervix.
