Surgical Treatment Of Secondary Hyperparathyroidism With Chronic Renal Failure

Secondary hyperparathyroidism(SHPT)was caused by chronic renal failure seriously,affected the quality of life of patients.About 50% of the patients progressed to refractory or progressive SHPT and need surgical treatment,because poorly curative effects with medication.In this review,we summarized the preoperative localization of parathyroid glands,the selection of surgical methods,the determination of parathyroid hormone,postoperative management and the application of new technologies in SHPT patients,which provides basis for the selection of SHPT detection methods and treatment methods.
