Objective : Uterine sarcomas are rare female reproductive system malignancies that usually have an aggressive clinical behaviour. This study aimed to explore clinical characteristics, treatments and correlation factors affecting the prognosis of uterine sarcoma with different histological types. So as to the essay can provide the reference for diagnosis and treatment of uterine sarcoma. Methods:Retrospectively analyze the clinical data of 40 cases of uterine sarcoma patients treated at the Second Hospital,Hebei Medical University between January 2004 and May 2017.SPSS 21.0 was used for statistical analysis of clinical data.Results:1.Of 40 women with uterine sarcoma, the median age at diagnosis was45 years and the average age was 47.83±11.75 years, range 22 to 77 years.2.The patients numerously manifested with abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic mass, abdominal distention, abdominal pain, vaginal drainage.3.Lymph node metastases were negative between 9 patients who underwent lymphadenectomy.4.Age,menopausal status and histological types were significant factors.Patients who aged <45 years, premenopausal and the types of histology for the ESS more likely have a longer survival.Conclusion:1.Uterine sarcoma clinical manifestation is not typical, most patients presented with abnormal vaginal bleeding.2.Preoperative diagnosis of scraping or hysteroscopy biopsy is recommended in women with a rapidly enlarging fibroid in the post-or perimenopausal state with other suspicious features such as postmenopausalbleeding,in order to rule out the possibility of uterine sarcoma.3.The basic operation of uterine sarcoma is hysterectomy and/or salpingo-oophorectomy.But ovarian conservation may be considered on a case-by-case basis in those with early stage and young female. And routine lymphadenectomy has not been recommended.4.The prognosis of uterine sarcoma is related to age, menopausal status and histological types of patients.
