Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2015 Edition records that Artemisia argyi Folium is the dried leaves of Artemisia argyi Levl.Et Vant.The Artemisia argyi Folium could treat of hemorrhage,pain,and skin itch.Modern pharmacological studies were showed that the main effective components are the essential oil,flavonoids and polysaccharides.It has antibacterial,antivirus,anticoagulant,anticoagulant,anti-inflammatory,anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects etc.According to the survey,the other dry leaves of mugwort plant besides Artemisia argyi Folium were sold in traditional Chinese medicine markets,such as Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium.Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folum,as a substitute of Artemisia argyi Folium,it has the effect of dispelling cold and hemostasis etc.Artemisia argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium are similar in shape,they are more easily confused because of the similar shape,in this topic,we distinguish Artemisia argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium by their fingerprint and multiple volatile components content determination.This research will provide a scientific basis for the quality control of Artemisia argyi Folium.Part one The study of the GC fingerprint and multicomponent content of Artemisia argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae FoliumObjective:Taking 7 batchs Artemisia argyi Folium and 7 batchs Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium from different regions of the country’s.To establish GC fingerprint,and determination of eucalyptus oil,camphor,borneol,trans caryophyllene and caryophyllene five volatile components content by gas chromatography(GC).Methods:Samples collection:Collection of Dongbei Hebei,Henan,Shanxi five regions of 7 batchs Artemisiae argyi Folium,and Guangxi,Shandong Hebei three regions of 7 batchs Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folum,collection time in 2017.5.Establish the GC fingerprints:Analysis the conent of volatile components in Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium by GC.The GC data were imported into"Chinese medicine chromatographic fingerprint similarity evaluation system(2004A)",the GC fingerprints were obtained.Determination of volatile components content:The content of eucalyptus oil,camphor,borneol,trans caryophyllene,caryophyllene in Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium is determined by GC.Data analysis:Analysis the content of volatile components in Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium samples by SPSS21.0.Results:1.Establish the GC fingerprints:The difference between the GC fingerprints of the Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium samples is obvious.The number of chromatographic peaks of the Artemisiae argyi Folium samples was more than Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium samples,and the peak area of most chromatographic peaks were more than that of Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium samples.2.Determination of volatile components content:The content of eucalyptus oil,camphor,borneol,trans caryophyllene,caryophyllene in Artemisiae argyi Folium samples were 0.21-0.94 mg·g-1,0.04-0.23 mg·g-1,0.02-0.61 mg·g-1,0.03-0.29 mg·g-1,0.04-0.16 mg·g-1.The content of eucalyptus oil,camphor,borneol,trans caryophyllene,caryophyllene in Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium samples were 0.19-0.72mg·g-1,0.04-0.24 mg·g-1,0.02-0.17 mg·g-1,0.02-0.13 mg·g-1,0.04-0.43mg·g-1.3.Data analysis:Results show that analysis the most GC peaks area by SPSS21.0 can differentiate between Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium.But analysis the conent of eucalyptus oil,camphor,borneol,trans caryophyllene,caryophyllene in Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium were can not differentiate between Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium.Part two The study of the HPLC fingerprint and multicomponent content of Artemisia argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae FoliumObjective:Taking 16 batchs Artemisia argyi Folium and 9 batchs Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium from different regions of the country’s.To establish HPLC fingerprints,and using HPLC determination of five organic acids and two flavonoids.Moreover,chemometrics methods such as hierarchical clustering analysis and principal component analysis were performed to compare and discriminate the Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folum based on the quantitative data of analysis.To find the differences between the Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folum from the component content,for the Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folum provide identification of HPLC.The HPLC data were imported into"Chinese medicine chromatographic fingerprint similarity evaluation system(2004A)",the HPLC fingerprints were obtained.Non-volatile components content determination:High performance liquid chromatography method was applied for simultaneous determination of seven bioactive compounds including five organic acids and two flavonoids in Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium samples.Data analysis:Analysis the content of non-volatile components in Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium samples by SPSS21.0.Results:1.Establish the HPLC fingerprints:There was not much difference in the non-volatile component fingerprints of the Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium samples.2.Non-volatile components content determination:The content of neochlorogenic acid,chlorogenic acid,3,4-Dicaffeoylquinic acid,3,5-Dicaffeoylquinic acid,4,5-Dicaffeoylquinic acid,Jaceosidin and Eupatilin in Artemisiae argyi Folium were 0.17-2.59 mg·g-1,0.78-10.88mg·g-1,0.78-6.07 mg·g-1,3.12-16.63 mg·g-1,1.94-8.72 mg·g-1,0.26-0.69mg·g-1,0.46-1.22 mg·g-1.Thecontentofneochlorogenicacid,chlorogenicacid,3,4-Dicaffeoylquinic acid,3,5-Dicaffeoylquinic acid,4,5-Dicaffeoylquinic acid,Jaceosidin and Eupatilin content in Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium were 0.28-1.08 mg·g-1,1.88-3.73 mg·g-1,0.42-2.19 mg·g-1,6.59-15.10 mg·g-1,1.65-4.68 mg·g-1,0.05-0.11 mg·g-1,0.09-0.21 mg·g-1.Conclusion:1.Through establish the GC fingerprints,the difference between Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium is obvious,it can be a basis for distinguishing between the two.Analysis the conent of eucalyptus oil,camphor,borneol,trans caryophyllene,caryophyllene in Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium were can not differentiate betweenArtemisiaeargyiFoliumandArtemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium,show that eucalyptus oil,camphor,borneol,trans caryophyllene,caryophyllenewerenotcharacteristic volatile components in Artemisiae argyi Folium.2.The non-volatile component fingerprints of Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium were no performance difference,but according to the content of non-volatile components can differentiate Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium out.Contrast the content of non-volatile components in Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium found that Artemisiae argyi Folium samples component content is higher than Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium samples,so the content of non-volatile components can used be distinguish Artemisiae argyi Folium and Artemisiae lavandulaefoliae Folium. |
