| Objective To investigate Bin1 and C-myc expressions in urothelial carcinoma of bladder and their relationship with the clinicopathological parameters. Methods Real-time quantitative PCR was used to detect Binl and C-myc mRNA expressions in 42 urothelial carcinoma of bladder tissues and adjacent tissues. The results were stratified according to the clinicopathological characteristics, adopted SPSS22.0 statistical software for statistical analysis,to examine the relationship of Binl and C-myc expressions with the clinicopathological factors in the patients. Results Binl mRNA were expressed in all Paratumor tissues, while Binl mRNA expressions were decreased in 26(61.90%)(T=3.487,P=0.001)and lost in 16(38.10%)urothelial carcinoma of bladder tissues;C-myc mRNA expressions were upregulated in urothelial carcinoma of bladder tissues compared with the paracarcinoma tissues(T=-5.446,P<0.001).The expression of Binl mRNA in bladder urothelial carcinoma tissues was decreased with histological grading and TNM(UICC)stage increased(Z=-4.012,P<0.001,Z=-3.048,P=0.002),and the infiltration is less than the non-invasive expression(Z=-3.338,P=0.001).The expression of C-myc had no relationship with the histological grade, histological classfication and TNM stage. There was no correlation between the expressions of the two gene by linear analysis. Conclusions 1.In bladder urothelial carcinoma, the expression level of Binl were downregulated significantly and that of C-myc is upregulated. This may suggest that the expressions of binl and C-myc were related with bladder urothelial carcinoma lesions.2.Binl mRNA expressions were closely associated with histological classification, histologicalgrade and TNM stage of the tumor;C-myc had no obvious relation to histological classification, histologicalgrade and TNM stage.Low expression of Binlor loss of Binl expression may be associated with the progression of bladder urothelial carcinoma.3.It hadn’t shown statistical difference between the expression of Binl and C-myc mRNA.It maight owe to multiple factor and involve in the interaction of multiple genes and regulation in signal pathwways.4.Abnormal expressions in Bin1 mRNA and C-myc mRNA may contribute to molecular mechanisms of the occurrence and development in bladder urothelial carcinoma. |
