| OBJECTIVEWith the increasing incidence of colorectal diseases,colonoscopy has become an important method of diagnosis and treatment and the quality of bowel preparation directly affects the results of colonoscopy.Although guidance methods of bowel preparation are constantly improving,about one-third of patients still have inadequate bowel preparation.Therefore,this study aims to improve bowel preparation guidance through micro-anime and WeChat and evaluate its guiding effect,so as to build a guidance management scheme for bowel preparation.METHODSIn this study,a combination of literature research,expert consultation,brainstorming,randomized controlled trials,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics analysis were used.Firstly,we reviewed the related research on bowel preparation at home and abroad on the basis of literature research and optimized the management of bowel preparation guidance combined with the specific situation of our country’s bowel preparation guidance.In addition,we made micro-animation videos and WeChat platform for guiding content.Then they had been modified and continuously improved through the expert consultation,brainstorming and thematic group discussion.After that,we used a randomized controlled study to select 300 colonoscopy patients who met the inclusion criteria in the Nanjing general hospital endoscopy center as the research group and the traditional paper Guidance Group as the control group to verify the application effect of the micro animation and WeChat guidance group.Finally,combining the statistical analysis results of the questionnaire survey,this optimization management plan was constructed.RESULTSThis study had developed an integrated bowel preparation guidance with micro animation and WeChat public platform.The management of bowel preparation was optimized through the visualization of micro animation and the WeChat timing push service.In addition,we conducted a 1:1 randomized controlled study on the effect of the micro animation and WeChat guidance by the traditional paper guidance method as the control group in the inclusion of 300 colonoscopy subjects.Of these,8 patients were canceled due to preparation failure or private reasons,so eventually 292 patients completed the study,including 148 cases in the trial group and 144 cases in the control group.The differences in baseline characteristics of the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating the comparability between the two groups.The major indicators analysis showed that the bowel preparation satisfaction of micro animation and WeChat group was better than that of the traditional paper group,and the difference was statistically significant(97.53.8 vs 92.06.2,P<0.001).Compared with the full rate of bowel preparation in the two groups,the micro animation and WeChat group were superior to the traditional paper group and the difference was statistically significant(88.5%vs 76.4%,P=0.006).The secondary index analysis showed that the differences of compliance,adverse reaction and sleep quality of the two groups were statistically significant(jP<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that compliance was a risk factor for bowel preparation satisfaction and bowel preparation quality in patients.Finally,we developed an optimized management plan for the guidance of bowel preparation based on the results of the analysis and the advice of the patients.CONCLUSIONSThe optimization management of bowel preparation guidance based on micro animation and WeChat platform is effective,feasible and safety.These can help patients get the scientific understanding of bowel preparation and improve the compliance and quality of bowel preparation,thereby reducing the incidence of adverse reactions and effectively improving the bowel preparation experience.In addition,this method also has better acceptability and satisfaction.At the same time,with the help of the new media,this kind of intestinal preparation guidance also has a certain value in management. |
