Objective:To investigate the expression of matrix metalloproteinase 2 gene(Matrix metalloproteinase 2,MMP-2)in benign and malignant pleural tissue and pleural effusion and its relationship with clinicopathological features.Methods:175 cases of patients with pleural effusion from lung cancer hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from October 2015 to October 2017,from above, patients in medical thoracoscopic parietal pleural biopsy and specimens from pleural effusion samples, pathologically diagnosed 90 cases of malignant pleural lesions and 85 cases of benign pleural disease. The expression level of MMP-2mRNA in pleural tissue and pleural effusion was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(Quantitative Real-time PCR).The relationship between the expression level of MMP-2mRNA and clinicopathological parameters was also analyzed.Results:(1)MMP-2mRNA in benign and malignant pleural tissues relative expression levels were 1.017 + 0.209,1.767 + 0.591,compared with the two difference was statistically significant(t=-4.119,P < 0.01);the relative expression level of MMP-2mRNA in benign and malignant pleural effusion were 1.021 + 0.219,1.648 + 0.389,there was statistical the significance of the difference between the two groups(t =-3.905,P < 0.01).The relative expression of MMP-2mRNA in malignant pleural tissue and pleural effusion was significantly higher than that in the benign lesion control group(P<0.01).(2)the expression level of MMP-2mRNA is closely related to lymph node metastasis(P=0.033),differentiation degree(P=0.038)and histological type(P<0.01),but not related to age, sex, and EGFR gene mutation(P>0.05).Conclusion:MMP-2mRNA were highly expressed in malignant pleural tissue, pleural effusion, metastasis is closely related to the expression level of MMP-2mRNA and the degree of tumor differentiation, histological type and lymph nodes, suggesting that MMP-2 may be involved in the development and development of pleural metastasis of malignant tumor?...
