The Preliminary Study Of The Expression Of Plasma TLR2 In Patients With Acute Ischemic Stroke

Objectives: For acute ischemic stroke patients,according to the TOAST classification standard,the difference of plasma TLR2(Toll Like Receptor2)levels in different groups were discussed in this study.Methods:90 cases of acute ischemic stroke were selected as case group and 39 cases of healthy physical examination were used as normal control group.Patients in the case group were divided into three groups according to TOAST classifycation: 36 cases of Large Artery Atherosclerosis(LAA)group,12 cases of Cardioembolism(CE)and 42 of Small Artery Occlusion(SAO)group.All the subjects took the 3ml of the elbow vein blood on the empty stomach on the morning of the next morning to determine the plasma concentration of TLR2.Results: Age,BMI in group LAA,CE and SAO were all higher than those in control group.The incidence of hypertension,smoking history and past stroke were higher than those in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Meanwhile White Blood Cell count,blood glucose,triglyceride,total cholesterol,low density lipoprotein,fibrinogen level of LAA,CE,SAO group was even higher than the control group,there was statistically significant difference(P < 0.05),while high density lipoprotein levels lower than the control group,the difference was obviously significant(P< 0.05).The concentration of TLR2 in group LAA and group SAO was greater than that in control group(P< 0.05),and in group CE there is no statistically significant comparemet with the control group(P > 0.05).Conclusions:TLR2 plays an important role in the pathogenesis of acute ischemic stroke(TOAST),and would become an indicator of the classification of the etiology of ischemic stroke.It is helpful to determine the individualized treatment of ischemic stroke.
