Objective:To understand the impact of metabolic syndrome(MS)and its components on the progress of prostate cancer,to delay the progress of prostate cancer and improve prognosis..Methods: Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 360 patients with prostate cancer from January 2010 to September 2016,Department of Urology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University,Including height,weight,score.Results:1.compared with simple prostate cancer group;the body mass index,fasting blood glucose,prostate volume and triglyceride all increased,while the levels of high-density lipoprotein and prostate specific antigen decreased in the metabolic syndrome group(p<0.05),2.The Gleason score of the metabolic syndrome group was higher than that in the simple prostate cancer group(p<0.05,95%CI:1.410~7.293).Conclusion: The degree of malignancy of the patients is higher(Gleason≄8)in the prostate cancer group with metabolic syndrome,which may promote the progress of prostate cancer.
