Objective:As research object,ACS patients with IABP were included in this research to help evaluate the value of SYNTAX score system in predicting the clinical outcomes of this kind of patients in hospital. It may provide a proof for the clinical application of IABP combined with SYNTAX scoring system.Methods:(1)We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data including 239 ACS patients with multi-vessel lesions undergoing IABP assisted treatment confirmed by coronary angiography from June 2016 to June 2017.The data including gender, age, heart rate, blood pressure, blood lipid status, diabetes history,PCI history, hypertension history, and peripheral vascular disease,ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI),non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI)and unstable angina pectoris(UA),treatment measures etc.According to the SYNTAX score,239 patients with ACS were divided into three groups:low score group(0≤SYNTAX Score<22,n=87),middle score group(23≤SYNTAX Score≤32,n=136),high score group(SYNTAX Score≥33,n=16).After finishing related laboratory examination, all the selected patients were suitable for IABP operation without related contraindications;(2)To analyze the clinical outcomes of patients in the hospital, including in-hospital mortality and the occurrence of complications during hospitalization(such as infection, limb ischemia within 30 days, cardiovascular events,etc.)Results:(1)There was no statistical difference in the age, gender, blood lipids, heart rate, history of hypertension, diabetes,PCI,diastolic blood pressure, and peripheral blood vessels,STEMI,NSTEMI,UA between the different group(P>0.05);(2)Comparison of creatinine level,LVEF,the operation of CABG in three groups, the result shows creatinine concentration of the patients in high score group(171.81±60.31)was significantly higher than that of the middle score group(104.29± 13.28)and the low score group(106.82±13.36),and there was statistical difference between three groups(P<0.05).LVEF was also significantly different among the three groups.LVEF in high score group(42.13±4.48)was significantly lower than that of the middle score group(49.41±1.56)and low score group(48.31±1.89)(P<0.05).There was statistical difference in the operation of CABG between three’groups(P<0.05).(3)The death rate in high group(37.50%)was significantly higher than that in middle group(14.70%)and low group(17.24%).There was statistical difference between three groups(P<0.05);The complications during hospitalization include limb ischemia, infection, stroke,The results showed that there was no statistical difference between three groups.(P>0.05).Conclusion:SYNTAX scoring system has certain predictive value on assessing the in-hospital mortality for ACS patients treated with IABP;SYNTAX scoring system failed to yield a significant association with the occurrence of in-hospital complications for ACS patients treated with IABP.
