| Objective:To explore the clinical application of contrast-enhanced transrectal ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant lesions of prostate in external gland. Methods:Retrospective analysis the CE-TRUS results of 40 patients who were discorered having abnormal echo regions in prostate external gland by ultrasound in april 2013 to march 2015,all lesions(55)were confirmed by needle puncture biopsy pathology,to compare the benign and malignant lesions of prostate in external gland.Result:The main characteristic of benign lesions:71.4%(15/21)were isoechoic-density enhancement,85.7%(18/21)were synchronous enhancement,76.2%(16/21)were uniform-density enhancement. The main characteristic of malignant lesions:82.4%(28/34)were high-density enhancement,85.3%(29/34)were fast enhancement,61.8%(21/34)were inhomogeneous enhancement. There was significant difference in enhancement pattern between benign and malignant lesions of prostate in external gland(P<0.01).There was statistically significan in quantitative parameters(API、TIP、SLC、ARC)of CE-CEUS between benign and malignant lesions of prostate in external gland(P<0.05).Conclusion:There was statistically difference in enhancement pattern and quantitative parameters between the benign and malignant lesions of prostate in external gland, observing the enhancement pattern and quantitative parameters could help to identify the benign and malignant lesions. There was the clinical application of contrast-enhanced transrectal ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant lesions of prostate in external gland. |
