Objective To analyze the prognosis of the benign childhood epilepsy with central temporal spikes, and to study the related factors of the benign childhood epilepsy with central temporal spikes poor prognosis.Method A retrospective analysis was made on the clinical medical records of children treated in the central hospital of handan city from 2005 to 2017,and summarized according to the characteristics of their medical records. All into the group of children were regularly, regular visit, include any follow-up clinical seizures, cranial mri and video electroencephalogram review, and monitor all kinds of adverse drug reactions, adjusting doses,at least 1 year of follow-up.Will return after 1 years of medical records according to whether there is any clinical seizures, divided into the experimental group and control group, analysis the presence of related factors of difference between two groups, using the method of inspection to find out the related factors, and the testing method is used to calculate the relationship between the factors and prognosis.Result In all 280 cases of the benign childhood epilepsy with central temporal spikes children with good prognosis accounted for 71%(200 cases),and the proportion of children with poor prognosis for 29%(80 cases),showed the benign childhood epilepsy with central temporal spikes mostly good prognosis, but still not allow to ignore to the proportion of poor prognosis,The three kinds of adverse factors were BECT variants, low age of onset and abnormal eeg changes in the course of disease. The chi-square analysis was carried out for two groups of younger ages.,and the score was 52.020,and the asymptotic Sig was about 0,which was significantly less than 0.05,and the results were significant. The NREM discharge index of the two groups was analyzed by chi-square,it was concluded that the chi-square value was 135.151,and the asymptotic Sig was about 0,which was significantly less than 0.05,and the results were significant. Conclusion BECT has a good prognosis, and the related factors of poor prognosis include BECT variant, low age of onset, and an increase of NREM discharge index in eeg. Moreover, the lower the onset age,the worse prognosis of BECT children. The higher the NREM discharge index, the worse prognosis of BECT children.
