| Objective:To understand the current situation of humanistic care capacity of nursing students from junior college.Try to construct experience type teaching mode of basic nursing courses.To evaluate the effect of experiential teaching on improving the humanistic care ability of nursing students.Method:This study was an experimental study.Two classes of nursing students from a junior college were taken as research objects,with the cluster sampling method.Class one(n=41,7 male,34 female)was randomly assigned as the experimental group,and class two(n=41,7 male,34 female)as the control group.In the teaching of basic nursing,the experimental group adopted experiential teaching method and the control group adopted traditional teaching method.At the end of the semester,the Humane Care Competence,Operational Skills and Professional Identity of the two groups of nursing students were evaluated using the Human Care Competence Scale,Operational Skills Assessment Criteria and Occupational Identification Scale,and the effect of experiential teaching was also measured.Results:1.Before the experiment,the total score of nursing care ability of nursing students in experimental group was 173.63 ± 8.96.The total score of humane care ability of nursing students in control group was 173.59 ± 10.86.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the scores of humanistic care(p> 0.05).After the experiment, the nursing students humanistic care ability score in experimental group was 190.02 ±11.43 while the nursing students humanistic care ability in control group score was175.27 ± 10.04.There was significant difference between the two groups in total scores of humanistic care ability(p <0.05).There was no significant difference in scores of understanding,patience and courage between the two groups before the experiment(p>0.05).After the experiment,the scores of three dimensions of understanding,patience and courage of the two groups were statistically significant(p <0.05).Before and after the experiment,the humanistic care ability of the nursing students in the experimental group was statistically significant(P <0.05)in total score and understanding,patience,courage.The scores after experiment was higher than that before the experiment.Before and after the experiment,there was no significant difference for nursing students in control group in the total score of humanistic care and the three dimensions of understanding,patience and courage(p> 0.05).The humane care ability of college nursing students was low.The humane care ability of nursing students in experimental group was higher than that of control group(p <0.05).2.The comparison of two groups of nursing students in basic nursing operating skills assessment: After the experiment,there was no significant difference in the total score of operating skills assessment between the two groups(p> 0.05),However,there were significant differences in humanistic care scores(P <0.05).3.The comparison of experimental teaching and the traditional teaching comparison:After the completion of experimental teaching.The author investigated the teaching effect of nursing students in experimental group.100% of nursing students think that experiential teaching improves their understanding of nursing profession.95.1% of nursing students deepen their understanding of caring knowledge.87.8% of nursing students think it is beneficial to learn and analyze the different needs of patients.82.9% of nursing students think that they have promoted the practice of empathy.87.8%of the nursing students think that they have increased their interest in operating skills learning.It shows that nursing students are generally satisfied with the experiential teaching effect.4.The comparison of occupational identity of nursing students in two groups before and after the experiment: Before the experiment,the score of nursing students occupational recognition in experimental group was 24.854 ± 3.151 while the score of nursing students occupational recognition in control group was 24.805 ± 3.572.There was no significant difference in occupational recognition scores between the two groups before the experiment(p> 0.05).After the experiment,the occupational recognition score of nursing students in experimental group was 31.512 ±2.830 while the occupational recognition score of nursing students in control group was 26.024±3.229.There was a significant difference in occupational recognition scores between the two groups(P<0.05),and the experimental group was higher than the control group.Conclusion:1.The ability of junior college nursing students’ humanistic care is lower than that of foreign norm.The cultivation of humanistic care ability of specialized nursing students is still a long way off.2.Construction of "basic nursing" experiential teaching mode has good operability.3.Experiential teaching can improve the nursing care ability of nursing students.4.Experiential teaching can improve the professional identity of nursing students. |
