The Optimization Analysis Of Maternal Care Needs In The Perinatal Period From The Perspective Of Kano Theory

Objective:To analysis and define properties of the maternal care needs in the perinatal period based on the theory of Kano;to make the optimization analysis to the maternal care needs in the perinatal period adopting the importance of matrix analysis;to explore the attributes of the maternal care needs in the perinatal period in different medical institutions.Methods:The study is a present situation investigation of non-exprimentally research,using convenient sampling method to selected 780 pregnant and parturient women from four different medical institutions of Yanji.The research instruments include general information questionnaire,perinatal service demand scale,the perinatal service demand questionnaire based on the Kano theory,the importance matrix analysis table.The datas of the study were input,transformationed,arrangementted and analysised by SPSS17.0 and EXCEL software.Results:(1)The results of properties of the maternal care needs based on Kano are as follows:In the maternal care needs in the perinatal period project for maternal:10 belonged to Attractive Quality;11 for the One-dimensional Quality;2 for Must-be Quality and 37 belonged to Indifferent Quality;for pregnant woman:7 belonged to Attractive Quality;14 for the One-dimensional Quality;2 for Must-be Quality and 37 belonged to Indifferent Quality;for puerperal:10 belonged to Attractive Quality;11 for the One-dimensional Quality;2 for Must-be Quality and 37 belonged to Indifferent Quality.(2)Satisfaction-Importance degree matrix graph showed:In the maternal care needs in the perinatal period project for maternal:45 in the first quadrant;1 in the second quadrant;1 in the third quadrant and 13 in the forth quadrant;for pregnant woman:9 in the first quadrant;37 in the second quadrant;1 in the third quadrant and 13 in the forth quadrant;for puerperal:10 in the first quadrant;37 in the second quadrant;1 in the third quadrant and 12 in the forth quadrant.(3)In the maternal care needs in the perinatal period project for different medical institutions:for maternal in the tertiary hospitals:10 belonged to Attractive Quality;12 for the One-dimensional Quality;2 for Must-be Quality and 36 belonged to Indifferent Quality;for maternal in comprehensive Grade 2A hospitals:4 belonged to Attractive Quality;18 for the One-dimensional Quality and 38 belonged to Indifferent Quality;for maternal from Grade 2A women's and children's hospitals:6 belonged to Attractive Quality;12 for the One-dimensional Quality and 42 belonged to Indifferent Quality;for maternal in the Private maternal and child care institutions:5 belonged to Attractive Quality;13 for the One-dimensional Quality;2 for Must-be Quality and 40 belonged to Indifferent Quality.Satisfaction-Importance degree matrix graph showed:In the maternal care needs in the perinatal period project for different medical institutions:for maternal in the tertiary hospitals:10 in the first quadrant;36 in the second quadrant;2 in the third quadrant and 12 in the forth quadrant;for maternal in comprehensive Grade 2A hospitals:7 in the first quadrant;32 in the second quadrant;1 in the third quadrant and 20 in the forth quadrant;for maternal from Grade 2A women's and children's hospitals:22 in the first quadrant;23 in the second quadrant and 15 in the forth quadrant;for maternal in the Private maternal and child care institutions:8 in the first quadrant;31 in the second quadrant;1 in the third quadrant and 20 in the forth quadrant;Conclusions:(1)The questionnaires are made and the results are defined based on the Kano theory.It's important to use the theory of Kano to enhance the nursing service.And efforts should be done to guarantee the demands for Must-be Quality,building the demands for One-dimensional Quality,and actively develop the demands for Attractive Quality.Finally improve the quality of nursing work in the perinatal period and provide them more high quality and warmer services.(2)Using the important degree of matrix analysis method to analysis the results of Kano questionnaire.Define the weak links of the specific services.Maintain and optimize the demands in the first quadrant;successively improve the demands in the second quadrant and the third quadrant;remove the insignificant demands in the fourth quadrant to reduce deficiencies in care services.And finally provide standardization,systematization,personalized and comprehensive nursing care to the maternals.(3)Different medical institutions should innovate service mode and optimize service process by considering their own conditions as well as focusing on the physiological and psychological characteristics of maternal in the perinatal period in different stages.Finally enhances the level of maternal and child health services and accomplishes the status of patients,medical institutions and social benefit.
