| Objective To analyze the refeeding syndrome risk factors related to the patients in the Intensive Care Uint(ICU),assess the effect of RFS in patients with ICU.Methods Collected the malnourished patients in the ICU,a total of 197,from May 10,2013 to May 10,2015.according to the diagnostic criteria, diagnosis RFS 42 cases,as the RFS group;the rest of 155 as the control group. Then compare two groups of sex, age, nutritional scores,APACHE2 scores, the level of albumin and prealbumin before feeding, the method of refeeding, the serum electroly(phosphorus, magnesium, potassium)level of before and after refeeding, the average days of hospital stay, the average days of mechanical ventilation, the cost of hospital, the final outcome respectively and analysis.Assessed the risk factors of ICU critical patients complicated with RFS and the effects of final outcome.Result The RFS group’s age was obviously higher than control group, significant difference(P<0.05);and over 60 elderly patients with higher incidence of disease. The RFS group’s the level of albumin and prealbumin before feeding and serum electroly(phosphorus, magnesium, potassium)level of after refeeding were significantly lower than the contronl group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).COPD,Sever peumonia, cerebrovascular accident, etc, have the higher incidence. The RFS group’s hospital stay and mechanical ventilation were longer then the control group, the difference was statistically significa nt(p<0.05).RFS hospitalization expenses of patients with the control group was not significantly increased(P>0.05).The RFS group’s moetality was higher than the control group, significant difference(P<0.05).The sex, nutritional scores,APACHE2 scores, the method of refeedinga, there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Among the critical patients, elder, the level of albumin and prealbumin before feeding are the high risk factors. It should be early recognition and treatment of RFS... |
