Clinical Observation Of Wenyang Jianpi Prescription In Treating Diarrhea-predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome With Deficiency Of Spleen And Kidney Yang

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Wenyang Jianpi prescription in treating diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D)with spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome,and its mechanism was discussed,so as to lay a solid foundation for the clinical application of the prescription in treating IBS-D spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome.Methods: 60 patients with IBS-D were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)according to the design method of randomized controlled trial.The treatment group was given Wenyang Jianpi Fang(pill,hospital preparation)orally,3g each time,3 times a day;the control group was given trimebutine maleate capsule orally,2 tablets each time,3 times a day.4 weeks as a course of treatment,the two groups were treated for 3 consecutive courses of treatment,and at the same time,with psychological and dietary adjuvant therapy,during the treatment period,the two groups are no longer treated with other drugs for the disease.The syndrome integral and curative effect of the two groups were observed before and after treatment,and the results were compared,analyzed and statistically analyzed.Results:(1)The total effective rate was 90.75% in the treatment group and 72.16% in the control group(p<0.05).The results showed that Wenyang Jianpi prescription was superior to trimebutine maleate capsule in treating IBS-D spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome.(2)The scores of single symptom and total symptom in the two groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05),the results showed that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(3)Before and after treatment,there were significant differences between the two groups in the improvement of abdominal pain,diarrhea,aversion to cold and limb cold,listlessness and fatigue,loss of appetite,soreness and weakness of waist and knees(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in the treatment of the above symptoms.(4)The patients were followed up by telephone or outpatient service after every full course of treatment and the 4th week after drug withdrawal.the recurrence rate was 17.75% in the treatment group(5 cases)and 18 cases(no recurrence).In the control group,9 cases recurred and 11 cases did not recur,the recurrence rate was 32.26%.The recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions: Compared with trimebutine maleate capsule for treating IBS-D with spleen-kidney yang deficiency syndrome,Wenyang Jianpi prescription has definite curative effect,low recurrence rate and no obvious adverse reaction,can obviously relieve symptoms of IBS-D such as abdominal pain and diarrhea,diarrhea in stool,aversion to cold and limb coldness,listlessness and fatigue,does not think about diet,soreness and weakness of waist and knees and the like,and improves the quality of life of patients.
