Bees,as one of the most common insects in nature,have been recorded on the earth for more than 100 million years.they are inextricably linked to the production and life of our human beings,and play an irreplaceable important role in balancing biodiversity and ecology.However,with the acceleration of the pace of modern society,it is undeniable that our understanding and attention to bees is not enough,no matter its huge effects on plants,fruits as pollinating insects and honey on people,or its survival dilemma because of the deterioration of the ecological environment.Thus,it is very important to raise the awareness and attention of bees in the whole society,which not only helps to tap their enormous economic value,but also enhances people’s understanding of nature,thereby further enhancing the awareness of respecting nature and protecting nature,and promoting harmony between man and nature..This process requires the popularization of natural science knowledge and attracts people’s attention.In many ways,the popular science exhibition is a very effective one However,as far as the current situation is concerned,most of the domestic exhibitions on bees are commercialized,mainly selling honey products.The real science exhibitions about bees are not only rare,but also low qualified,with monotonous and old design and visual effect.Based on this background,this paper conducts a systematic study on the basis of field research on the current situation of bee science display.Firstly,the knowledge of bee science is introduced.Secondly,the present bee theme science popularization method and case are compared and analyzed,so as to summarize the nature,main components and design patterns of the popular bee display design,and improve the traditional bee theme science display design.Design methods and procedures including topic positioning,crowd analysis,and normative specifications are proposed.At the same time,combined with multi-sensory design,multi-media design and media application design,to realize the exploration of display space design,fully express the science content related to bees,and let people fully understand the bees through convenient,flexible and vivid science display,and form a life philosophy that protects the bees and loves nature.Through the study of bees popular science display design,this thesis aims to explore how to use the method of display design to better popularize the scientific knowledge of bees,so as to enhance the public’s attention and awareness of bees,and further improve the awareness of protecting bees and the environment.In addition,the try of using new concepts to improve the design of traditional bee-themed exhibitions,can highlight the positive energy transmission brought by the bee spirit.This is a new practical exploration of the popular science exhibition in the context of the new era,which makes the design concept of science popularization more abundant and provides reference for further in-depth research.
