Efficiently water-saving irrigation agriculture is one of the key goals of agricultural development and a part of the national rural revitalization strategy,which can effectively solve the current situation of the crisis of Engineering and water quality shortage in Sichuan Province caused by the complex geographical environment,uneven spatial and temporal distribution of water resources,and water shortage in some areas.This paper studies the development status of efficiently water-saving irrigation agriculture in Sichuan Province,and analyzes the concept,development status and research status at home and abroad of efficiently water-saving irrigation agriculture.Secondly,by accessing literatures,using statistical analysis and typical regional analysis,this paper selects three indicators closely related to the efficiently water-saving irrigation,which are the overall development indicator,the overall benefit evaluation indicator(irrigated areas of cultivated land,areas of water-saving irrigation,total sown areas of crops,yields of main crops),and regional typical benefit evaluation indicator(The development of agricultural water-saving measures such as sprinkler irrigation,micro-irrigation and low-pressure pipe irrigation,the capacity of food production per unit area and saving water per unit area);Then,this paper evaluates the benefits brought by current efficiently water-saving irrigation agriculture and the development status of efficiently water-saving irrigation agriculture of typical regions.Finally,the following results can be obtained from this paper:(1)The high-efficiency water-saving irrigation agriculture in Sichuan Province has developed rapidly under the support of the state and the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government from the beginning of“Thirteenth Five-Year Plan”.Agricultural water-saving measures such as sprinkler irrigation,micro-irrigation and low-pressure pipe irrigation have made historic breakthroughs and the cumulative development areas of sprinkler irrigation,micro-irrigation and low-pressure pipe irrigation in 2017 were 648%,311% and 222% respectively of 2013.(2)The development situation of high-efficiency water-saving irrigation in Sichuan Province is good and the area of cultivated land irrigated and water-saving irrigation area is gradually increasing.During 2013-2017,the average increase amplitude of cultivated land irrigated area and water-saving irrigation area is 2.35% and 3.87%,respectively,and the total planting area of crops has a certain rebound compared with the period of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”.(3)Among the typical areas of developing high-efficiency water-saving irrigation agriculture,high-efficiency water-saving irrigation agriculture in Chengdu Plain Economic Zone,Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone and Panxi Economic Zone has developed well,and relevant measures can be adopted to further promote development of the South Sichuan Economic Zone and the Northwest Sichuan Ecological Demonstration Zone.
