The Clinical Observation Of Chinese Traditional Medicine “Jiangtangling” For The Treatment Of Diabetes In Dogs

Canine diabetes is one of the most common endocrine diseases in dogs.In the middle and aged dogs,the prevalence of the disease is increasing year by year.In order to develop and excavate the traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic metabolic disease,especially using "Jiangtangling" for the treatment of the clinical effect of the treatment of canine diabetes.From march to december in 2014 in Shanghai Weikang pet clinic 9 diagnosed diabetic dogs were randomly divided into three groups,3 dogs in each group.Group A: the use of insulin group were treated with insulin;B group: Western medicine group use treatment with oral medicine;traditional Chinese medicine decoction group C group: the use of "Jiangtangling".D group: 3 healthy dogs.Treatment for 1 courses in January.After 1 courses of treatment,compared each group before treatment,half a month and 1 months of treatment,blood glucose,liver and kidney function related physiological and biochemical indexes,diet,urine volume / day etc..The experimental results showed that the blood glucose level was significantly decreased(P<0.05),diet and daily urine volume,liver and kidney function and other abnormal conditions after 1 courses of treatment,2 dogs were improved,and the indicators were higher than the normal values.Western medicine group after treatment for half a period of treatment,3 dogs were worse,the indicators were higher than the normal value.Decoction of Chinese medicine treatment group after half a month,blood routine,blood glucose,liver and kidney function indexes tended to normal diet,and daily urine volume gradually improved.3 improved dog mental status after 1 month treatment,blood routine,blood glucose,liver and kidney function index decreased significantly compared with before treatment(P<0.05),normal diet,daily urine volume decreased.Experimental results show that the prescription of traditional Chinese medicine "Jiangtangling" can slowly reduce the abnormal rise of canine blood glucose,and abnormal indexes related to liver and kidney function,liver and kidney function.For diabetic patients with severe liver and kidney injury,the comprehensive treatment effect is better than the simple injection of insulin and oral hypoglycemic drugs.
