Forestry chassis generally carries on the open-air work in the terrain complex changeful environment,so it needs to have good ground adaptability,and can ensure the stable contact between the wheels and the ground.The research on the chassis of special forestry vehicles in China is relatively weak,while the corresponding equipment in foreign countries can not completely match the characteristics of China’s terrain,and its use has certain limitations.Therefore,the research and development of special forest vehicle chassis suitable for China’s forest environment is of great significance for China’s forestry development.According to the motion principle and advantages of the multi-dof parallel platform,design a new type of forest hinge mechanism which can pitch,turn and roll,and do parametric modeling and kinematic optimization design with Creo Parametric and Adams/View.The maximum value of turning angle and pitch angle of the multi-dof articulated mechanism can be increased after the optimized design.The joint simulation models of parallel hinged chassis and common chassis are respectively established in order to evaluate the relative performance of the multi-degree-of-freedom articulated mechanism,finding that the contact force between the wheel and the ground,the maximum climbing angle and the height of the steep convex obstacle are all larger than that of the common chassis when the parallel hinged chassis jumps over the obstacle,so the performance of parallel hinged chassis is better than that of rigid hinged chassis.The multi-dof articulated mechanism is suitable for forestry power chassis.Based on SolidWorks/Simulation,this paper analyzes the stress and displacement of multi-degree of freedom hinge mechanism under longitudinal load,finding that the maximum stress and displacement of multi-degree-of freedom articulated mechanism with additional structure are obviously reduced compared with that without additional structure,so it can meet the requirements of actual working conditions.In this paper,the construction of the hydraulic system is carried out according to the working principle of parallel articulated chassis,and the parameters of the hydraulic pump and hydraulic valve to be used in the system are calculated and selected.The virtual hydraulic system is set up and simulated in the software Amesim.
