Soil is the basis of plant survival and plays an important role in agroforestry,soil moisture content and soil compactness directly affect plant growth and development,most of the existing sensors or instruments are single measurements of soil moisture or soil compaction,due to the larger coupling effect between the soil moisture and soil compactness,single measurement have larger deviation.In the soil compactness measurement based on the cone index method,unable to eliminate friction problem caused by the uneven injection speed in the process of cone penetration,paper on the basis of the cone index method,innovation to measure Synchronized acceleration,cone meter measurement deviation when using caused by injection of different speed is eliminated,and measurement accuracy is improved.Based on study above,paper research soil moisture measurement based on standing-wave ratio method of double metal ring type,a kind of soil compactness and moisture composite measuring device is designed.Paper first introduces the related research of soil compactness and soil moisture measurement,and the research related to soil compactness and soil moisture measuring principle,soil compactness and soil moisture measurement method are introduced respectively.Innovative measuring Synchronized acceleration based on industry generally recognised cone index method in the soil compactness measurement.In the aspect of soil moisture measurement,the earlier design is improved and optimized on the basis of previous studies using the standing-wave ratio method of metal structure of double ring type.according to the measurement has chosen,hardware circult is designed for soil compactness and soil moisture measurement in paper later,after the hardware design of each part are completed,all hardware set up a complete and carry on the compatibility of structure design of the circuit board,and the whole compound sensor is designed.After the overall mechanical structure of compound sensor is designed,according to ASAE,cone diameter of 12.83 mm is used.draw engineering drawings by using CATIA.Finally the performance of the composite sensor is tested by a series of tests,including calibration test,the static characteristic test,dynamic characteristic test,compared test etc,experimental results show that composite sensor quadratic linear fitting correlation factor above 0.96,accuracy of measurement deviation is within+/-2%,the dynamic response time is less than Is,sensor has good performance,but convenient to use,the price is cheaper,it will provides a effective means for forestry development and ecological protection.
