Studies On The Different Potato Generations’ Growth Performance And Physiological & Biochemical Indexes

Through the study of the yield,growth characteristics and quality of different generations of seed potato about Kexin 1,Shepody and Favorita,provides atheoretical basis for the construction of potato seed potato breeding system in Yulin area to improve potato yield and quality.The results are as follows:(1)In the comparison test of potato seed production in different generations,the yield of first generations of Kexin No.1 was 48.33t/ha,which was 26.1%,10.1%,and 22.4% higher than the potato seed tubers of second,third,fourthgenerations respectively.The first generations’ production of Shepody was 62.08t/ha,which increased by 41.2%,47.5% and35.1%,respectively,compared with the second,third,fourthgenerations.However,the highest yield of Favorita was the second generations,which reached 63.08t/ha,it increased respectivelyby 19.7%,30.8% and 54.6% than the first,third,fourthgenerations.According to the overall analysis of yield traits,the potato yield decreased as the generations of seed potatoes increased.According to potato field survey statistics,the plant height of Shapoty and Favorita it did not change significantly with the increase in the detoxification level of seed potatoes,while the plant height of Kexin No.1 increased significantly with the increase of the number of generations of seed potatoes.More specifically,the third generations,the fourth generations is increased by 20.2%,34.4% respectively.(2)We provide exhaustive experimental results to showthe commodity rateof Favoritais relatively higherthan that Kexin No.1 and Shepody.Among them,the first and fourth generation’s commodity rate of Kexin No.1 and the second and third generations were significantly different.The first generations and other threegenerations were significantly different about Shepody;the commodity rate of the first generations had an increase of 19.8%,29.2%,and 33.9%,respectively,respectively,compared with the second,third,fourthgenerations.Favorita’s first generation was 16.9%,26.2%,and 14.5% higher than the second,third,fourthgenerations.(3)The analysis results of potato biochemical showed that the starch content of three potato varieties did not show specific regularity with the increase of number of generations.The starch content in the first generations of Kexin No.1 was 16.09%,which was significantly different from other generations.And which was 12.0%,9.3%,and 12.1%higher than second,third,fourthgenerations.The highest starch content in Shepody is the secondgenerations,potato starch content decreased with the number of generations,compared with the first,third and fourthgenerations,the second generation increased by 3.9%,5.5% and11.94% respectively.There was no significant difference in the content of starch in different generations.There was also no significant difference in the content of dry matter between the potatoes at different generations of Kexin No.1,and the highest content was the second generations.In addition to the first generations,the dry matter content of Shepody was decreased with the increase of potato’s number of generations.During the whole life of the potato,the soluble protein content of the second generations was the lowest,was20.25mg/gof Kexin 1.Other three generations were similar in soluble protein content.These three generations also had significant difference in soluble protein content compared with the second generations.The content of soluble protein in Shepody and Favorita has certain regularity,that is,with the increase of the number of generations,the soluble protein of the potato is significantly reduced.There were significant differences in the content of reducing sugarat different generations of the same potato’s species and decreased with the increase of number of generations.The two physiological and biochemical indexes of catalase(CAT)and malondialdehyde(MAD)increased significantly with the increase of potato’s number of generations,and the two indexes showed a linear relationship with the disease index of potato.
