Empirical Research On Production Form And Organization Form Of Under-Forestry Economyin Zhaoqing City

Under the instruction of the development strategies of Modern Forest,the overall forestry industry system emphasizes the development of the Non-wood resource becomes an inevitable choice.Thus,stabilizing,improving and strengthening the forest industry and expanding the industry scale are imperative.Conforming to this trend,under-forestry economic turns into the vital part and an important breakthrough of forestry industry development,but also is the direct support for the strategic target of modern forest in C hina.As a province owes abundant forestry land resource and indefinite potential on the development of under-forestry economic,the under-forestry economic has significant effect to our forest industry.Currently,the researches on the develop form of under-forestry economic is limited.This paper fulfills this gap through the investigation into the firms of under-forestry industry in Zhaoqing city.In this paper,we reviewed the related literatures on the forestry industry economic and combine the theoretical and empirical research on the under-forestry economics in Zhaoqing city.The main content of this paper is as follows.First,introduce the background,purpose and the general situation of our research.And then,put forwards to related theories which support our investigation.Thirdly,analyze the production model of under-forestry through SSM methodology and the efficiency of organization form though DEA model.The last part has make the conclusion on our research and design some specific polices to help the development of under-forestry economic in the future.The conclusions of our research were made as follows through qualitative and quantitative analysis.Firstly,lacking of reasonable planning and instruction,the “single” organizational form is the prevailing organization form in this area,but is not effective.Secondly,these under-forestry economicalforms in Zhaoqing city are not efficient.The best organization of the mixed organizational form“single,corporate and cooperative” is not scaled up in the city,thus cannot help the industry goes better.Thirdly,through the SSM models,we recognized that the preponderant under forestry production forms in Zhaoqing city are planting,processing and breeding.These forestry production have excellent competitive ability,especially planting.Besides,through the DEA model analysis,“corporate” form is suitable for the development of under-forest planting;“corporate,single” form is appropriate to promote the development of processing;“single,corporate,cooperative” form has better economic benefit for under-forest breeding.Fourthly,analyzing different under-forestry productionforms of Zhaoqing city through SSM,the results show that service industry has the weakest competitiveness,stock farming and fishing have better competitiveness,planting is the most dominating sector.The under-forestry service and fishing industry in Zhaoqing city is instable and hysteretic,thus improving the infrastructure construction in service and fishing industry will greatly help the development of under-forestry fishing and tourist industry.
