China is a large agricultural country with about 69% of hilly orchard areas, which is known as "The Mother of the World Garden" and "Hometown of Fruit".But in recent years, under the general environment of promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, the issues such as how to rationally utilize the area of hilly orchards to develop agriculture, achieve energy conservation and emission reduction in agriculture and improve agricultural mechanization sustainably are becoming very important topics. The promotion of agricultural mechanization and research has therefore been put on the agenda of agricultural reform.According to agricultural machinery and energy-saving emission reduction literatures,220 pieces of Hilly orchard transporter questionnaires and 15 pieces of Trailed dual-track hilly orchard transporter social ecological value assessment for expert questionnaires were conducted in Guangdong province.Additionally, with the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,AHP multi-level evaluation index system is constructed, and the overall objective level of energy saving and emission reduction of the transporter is established.Lastly, with the result of the vector analysis, the evaluation conclusions are obtained. This paper evaluates the economic benefits, social benefits and ecological benefits respectively by quantitative and qualitative methods with the investigation of farmers in hilly orchards in Guangdong province. Moreover,it also Combined with domestic and foreign literature to conduct a comprehensive analysis.Taking the transporter in Guangdong province as an example. This paper uses the methods of the evaluation matrix(two indexes),the evaluation of the benefits(first grade index),the benefit analysis and statistics about energy conservation and emission reduction based on the transporter, the main conclusions in this passage are studied as follows:1)According to the scoring probability of the economic efficiency matrix, the trailed dual-track hilly orchard transporter can replace the manpower to carry the fruits in the complex hilly environment. The transporter can carry uphill load capacity of 300 kg,downhill load capacity of 400 kg,the maximum ramp is from 20° to 40° and the radius within 300 m.Compared with the traditional manpower transportation mode, transporter can reduce 80% labor resources and make the net profit in the region of orchard demonstration site increase by 8% within a year, and the economic benefits are between good and excellent.2)According to the scoring probability of social benefit matrix, the social benefits of application of the trailed dual-track hilly orchard transporter can raise the sustainable development level of the industry, which makes the production more in line with the requirements of agricultural modernization. The social benefits are in satisfied and excellent.3)According to the scoring probability of eco-efficiency matrix, the trailed dual-track hilly orchard transporter can reduce the risk of environmental pollution, increase the comprehensive utilization of organic resources and improve the mechanical recycling rate in the process of agricultural planting, irrigation and fertilization. The ecological benefits are between normal and satisfied. The trailed dual-track transporter in the use of hilly orchards are more reasonable and scientific.Besides,it can play a positive role in promoting environmental protection and sustainable development of agriculture. At the end of this paper, the multi-dimensional views and suggestions from the government, agricultural science institutes, manufacturing enterprises, producers, farmers and cooperatives were given, which were favorable to promote the use of the trailed dual-track transporter in hilly orchard.
