Study On Identification Of Cultivated Land Dominant Function Types Based On Multifunctional Competitiveness Evaluation

Under the new economic development situation,the diversification of consumer demand in the market has given rise to the demand for multifunctional utilization of cultivated land.Due to the neglect of the versatility of cultivated land resources and the lack of mechanisms for the internalization of cultivated land use externalities,traditional single-productivity production function management models face practical problems such as marginalization of cultivated land use,declining eco-environmental quality,and inadequate protection of traditional farming culture.In order to effectively solve the problems existing in cultivated land management,the management of cultivated land in the future should shift from a single-function management model to a multi-functional management model.Cultivated land has the essential attributes of joint production and has multifunctional advantages over other land uses.Multi-functional attributes have heterogeneity in spatial distribution.Under the condition of limited resources input,there are certain exclusivity among multiple functions.Therefore,quantitatively identifying the dominant functional types of cultivated land and constructing a multi-functional management model with differentiated leading functions is the key to guiding the rational allocation of cultivated land resources and realizing the multi-functional management of refined farmland.In the study,the cultivated land is divided into three categories: production,ecology,and landscape culture.Based on the evaluation model of land multi-purpose competitiveness established by relevant scholars,multifunctional competitiveness eval uation was constructed based on the natural suitability factors of cultivated land and socioeconomic drivers.Indicator system to quantitatively evaluate the multifunctiona l competitiveness of cultivated land resources.By arranging and combining multi-fun ctional competitiveness levels,measuring the level of multi-functional competitivenes s and identifying the dominant functional types of cultivated land.Taking Yingde as an example,the study finally divides the cultivated land into seven dominant fun ctional types: multi-function integrated,production function-dominated,ecological fun ction-dominated,ecologically functional-dominated,landscape culture function-dominat ed,production and ecological function-dominated,production and landscape culture f unction-dominated,ecological and landscape culture function-dominated.The main co nclusions are as follows:(1)In terms of multi-functional competitiveness,The competitiveness of produ ction function of cultivated land is higher in Yingde,and the level of competitive a nd medium-competitive accounts for more than 80% in the whole region,showing t hat the cultivated land in Yingde has high production capacity.The proportion of m oderately level competitive ecological functions in the region is relatively large,acco unting for more than 50% of the cultivated area,and the proportion of cultivated la nd with strong and weak competitiveness is relatively small.The landscape culture functional competitiveness in Yingde is generally low.The weakly competitive c ultivated land accounts for 50% of the cultivated area in the whole region,and the high level of competitive only accounts for about 20%.(2)There are seven types of theoretically expected functional types in Yingde.The proportion of production function-dominated type is the highest,which is as hig-h as 40%,and is mainly distributed in Towns such as Hanguang Town and ShiHui Town.The ecological function-dominated type,production and ecological function-dominated type,production and landscape culture function-dominated type,and landsc ape culture function-dominated type accounts for the same proportion in the region,for about 10%.The ecological functional-dominated type is mainly distributed in Donghua Town,Dawan Town,Xiniu Town,Baisha Town;the production and ecolo gical function-dominated type is evenly distributed throughout the region,distributii ng in Donghua Town and Dawan Town;production and landscape culture function-d ominated type is mainly distributed in Hanguang Town and Shihuipu Town;ecologic al and landscape culture functions-dominated is mainly located in Shakou Town;lan dscape culture functions-dominated is mainly distributed in Shakou Town and Yingh ong Town;ecological and landscape culture functions-dominated is mainly distributes in Shakou Town.The multi-function integrated type and landscape culture functio n-dominated type accounted for only 0.66% and 3.02%.The multi-function integrat ed type mainly distributes in Hanguang Town,Yinghong Town and Qingtang Town.The ecological and landscape culture function-dominated type mainly distributes in S hakou Town and Yinghong Town.(3)Under the differences in the dominant functions of cultivated land,by merg ing the types of dominant functions properly,construct the multifunctional manageme nt model with production function-dominated,ecological function-dominated,landscap e cultural function-dominated.
