Reasonable intercropping can improve the utilization efficiency of light,heat,gas and soil nutrients in the underground.In this experiment,we studied the system of potato intercropped with maize,potato intercropped with broad bean.Using the method of single factor random group experimential design,we studied the growth and physiological characteristics of potato,plant nutrient absorption,yield effect and soil nutrient change from the aspect of relationship between potato and maize or broad Bean.Experimentshave five treatments:Potato monoculture(P),Corn monoculture(M),broad bean monoculture(B),potato intercropped with maize(PM),potato intercropped with broad bean(PIB).The results are as follows:1.Compared with potato monoculture,intercropping cultivation model promoted potato dry matter accumulation and leaf area index.In the late period of potato starch accumulation,comparied with potato monoculture,the amounts of potato dry matter under the condition of potato intercropped with maize and potato intercropped with broad bean were increased by 22.28%and 18.28%.Compared with potato monoculture and potato intercropped with the maize,the leaf area index of potato were increased by 36.43%,36.43%in the earlier period of starch accumulation,separately.With the advancement of the potato period growth,the shade effect of com on potatoes has increased.In the treatment of potato intercropping broad bean(PIB),after the bean harvest,effective light and radiation(PAR)between potato strips have increased respectively.2.Compared with the potato monoculture,the potato photosynthetic properties and the fluorescence of the Chlorophyll fluorescence index(FO and PI)of were increased under the potato intercropped with broad bean;Compared with monoculture,the contents of potato SPAD were increased by 7.54%under the condition of potato intercropped with maize and potato intercropped with broad bean.With the development of the potato growth period,the shade effect of maize to potato were enhanced.,when the bean were harvested,effective light and radiation(PAR)between potato strips were increased respectively in the treatment of potato intercropped with the broad bean(PIB)3.During the whole growth period of potato,compared with monoculture,the treatment of potato intercropped with maize and potato intercropped with broad bean in the later period of starch accumulation were significantly increased by 28.8%,41.37%,112.37%and 48.32%respectively.4.The land equivalent ratio of potato intercropped with maize was less than 1.The land equivalent ratio of potato intercropped with broad bean was greater than 1.Under the condition of intercropping,the competitive ability of potato species was weaker than broad bean and maize.5.Compared with monoculture,the soil total phosphorus,the available potassium content and soil pH were increased,and the total nitrogen,the available nitrogen,the available phosphorus and the organic matter content of soil were decreased.
