| In order to explore the effects of Chinese herbal medicine feed additives on fox growth performance, fur quality and blood biochemical indicators,48 healthy silver foxes of 90 days old were randomly divided into 3 groups,16 in each group. The first group was the control group and was fed the basal diet. The second group and the third group were added with 1%of Chinese herbal medicine E.coli disease prevention agent and 1%of Chinese herbal medicine immunostimulant respectively in the basic diet.At the same time, the growth performance, fur quality and blood biochemical indexes were measured and analyzed in three groups of experimental foxes. The results showed that two Chinese herbal feed additives had no significant effect on the growth performance of silver fox(P>0.05).For the fur quality, except for the length of the bristles in the hip and the length of the villi in the shoulder, the third group was significantly higher than the first group(P<0.05),the remaining indicators did not reach significant levels(P>0.05).However,the daily intake, daily weight gain, dry skin length, dry skin width and dry tare weight in group 3 were all increased compared to the control group, and the feed-to-weight ratio was decreased. It shows that,to a certain extent,Chinese herbal medicine feed additives can promote the intake and growth of silver foxes, improve feed utilization, and improve fur quality. The analysis results of blood biochemical indexes of silver foxes by different Chinese herbal medicine feed additives showed that the two Chinese herbal medicine additives were superior to the control group in terms of immunity, antioxidation, protein metabolism, lipid metabolism, calcium and phosphorus metabolism, etc.Compared comprehensively, group 3 was the best. This group was significantly different from the control group on indicators such as IgA,IgM,TP,ALB,T-CHO,and AKP(P<0.05).Among them, the contents of IgA,IgG,TP,ALB and the activity of AKP were 35.71%,11.37%,21.84%,11.02%,and 19.28%higher than those of the control group, respectively, and the T-CHO content was 13.25%times lower than that of the control group. It shows that the Chinese herbal medicine feed additive can improve the immune ability and anti-oxidation ability of the silver fox.It can also improve the absorption and metabolism ability of the silver fox protein, fat, calcium and phosphorus, and increase the liver and kidney function. The results of this study provide a theoretical basis for the further development of Chinese herbal medicine additive products that enhance the production performance and disease resistance of fur animals. |
