| With Sophora moorcroftiana samples collected from 12 populations in Tibet,basing on variation levels of Sophora moorcroftiana population,and through controlling water by potted planting,evaluating the drought resistance of different Sophora moorcroftiana populations.The results of the study are as follows:1.The variance analysis showed that significant differences both within and among Sophora moorcroftiana populations,indicating abundant variation among and within populations.The high elevation Sophora moorcroftiana populations have bigger deflection level than low altitude.2.The correlation analysis of seeding indexes and geographical factors of Sophora moorcroftiana shows that the plant height and ground diameter have extremely significant negative correlation with altitude and have extremely significant positive correlation with longitude.The electron transfers rate have significant negative correlation with altitude.MDA and SOD enzyme have significant positive correlation with altitude and have negative correlation with longitude.3.Under drought stress,the seeding increment of Sophora moorcroftiana was significantly inhibited.Pop.10 and Pop.12 have bigger increment than other populations,showing its strongly growing ability and higher drought resistance;Pop.1 and Pop.8 have smaller increment,showing its weak drought resistance.4.With the drought stress level deepen,the maximum quantum efficiency,potential quantum efficiency,photochemical quenching coefficient and electron transfer rate were decreased,but the non-photochemical quenching coefficient and non-regulated energy dissipation was increased.5.The results by using subordinate function are as follows:Under mild water stress,the drought resistance of Sophora moorcroftiana from strong to weak as Pop.11 > Pop.10 > Pop.7 > Pop.12 > Pop.8 > Pop.3 > Pop.5 > Pop.3 > Pop.1 >Pop.2 > Pop.6 > Pop.9;Under severe water stress,the drought resistance of Sophora moorcroftiana from strong to weak as Pop.12 > Pop.10 > Pop.6 > Pop.7> Pop.8 > Pop.9 > Pop.5 > Pop.3 >Pop.11 > Pop.2 > Pop.1 > Pop.3.Pop.10 from Jiaga village and pop.12 from Gangxi village have the strongestdrought-resistance,and its growing well at mild and severe drought stress.These two village could be used as excellent drought resistance population to the recovery of arid and semiarid desert vegetation. |
