Quercus variabilis belongs to Fagaceae,which distributed widely in China.There are the starch that is more than 50%in the corns,and fat,amino acids,cellulose,mine ral elements,etc.The corn of Q.variabilis is regarded as the starch resource in the word.The annual product is very huge of corns in our country,so there is broad market Mach ining starch of corn of Q.variabilis.This research study sites were Louguantai region in N orth Slope of Qinling Mountains,Shanyang region in North Slope of Qinling Mountains,Baimatan region in Loess Plateau.Detection method of element is atomic absorption spectr ophotometer;detection element is K,Ca,Mg,Fe,Mn,and Zn.In addiction,cont ent of these elements of corns that came from three growth and four types were compare d,and the changes of content were analyzed that soaked in water and NaOH solution some hours.The following are the result:(1)The content of K is 725.645 mg·100g-1,the content of Ca is 52.6 mg·100g-1,the content of Mg is 58.735 mg 100g-1,the content of Fe is 3.405 mg 100g-1,the content of Mn is 3.21 mg·100g-1,the content of Zn is 1.921 mg·100g-1.And the variation coefficient is generally high.There are extremely significant different between K and Mg,Ca and Mn,and significant different between Mn and Zn.(2)The content ordering of K in the corns of Q.variabilis from three region is Baimatan region>Shanyang region>Louguantai region,ordering of Ca is Louguantai region>Shanyang region>Baimatan region,ordering of Mg is Baimatan region>Shanyang region>Louguantai region,ordering of Fe is Louguantai region>Shanyang region>Baimatan region,ordering of Mn is Louguantai region>Shanyang region>Baimatan region,ordering of Zn is Baimatan region>Louguantai region>Shanyang region。There are significant different of these element content from different regions.Also,the comprehensive assessment result of Louguantai region is the highest by subordinate function.(3)The content ordering of K in the corns of Q.variables of four kinds of type is thick bark deep crack>thin bark deep crack>thick bark shallow crack>thn bark shallow crack,ordering of Ca is thick bark shallow crack>thin bark deep crack>thick bark deep crack>thin bark shallow crack,ordering of Mg is thin bark deep crack>thick bark shallow crack>hick bark deep crack>thin bark shallow crack,ordering of Fe is thin bark shallow crack>hick bark deep crack>thick bark shallow crack>thin bark deep crack,ordering of Mn is thin bark deep crack>thick bark shallow crack>thin bark shallow crack>hick bark deep crack,ordering of Zn is thick bark shallow crack>hick bark deep crack>thin bark shallow crack>thin bark deep crack。There are significant different of these element between the four type.The comprehensive assessment result of thick bark deep crack is the highest by subordinate function.(4)The contents of K,Mg,Mn were decreased,Ca,Fe,Zn were raised with the rise of soaking time in water,.The contents of K,Mn were decreased,Ca,Fe,Zn,Mg were raised with the rise of soaking time in NaOH solution.
