Facing the phenomena of socio-economic development, drastic climate change, and tense land resources in the new century, the country has put forward new demands for urban space. How to improve the environmental quality of the old city, thinking about the importance of urban micro-renewal,is an important issue to stimulate urban vitality However, there are few studies on the quantitative analysis of the ecological benefits brought by micro-renewal.At the same time, under various urbanization problems, with the increasing population and high-density buildings in the city, changes in the urban architectural pattern, underlying surfaces, and green areas have deteriorated the outdoor thermal environment to a certain extent. The quality of life and living environment is greatly affected, however, there is still little quantitative research on the impact of different vegetation species on the outdoor thermal environment, and the problem encountered in the actual situation is that the configuration difference between lawns, shrubs or trees cannot be quantitatively evaluated.Since the old settlements have been built for a long time, they have exposed many problems in the planning and design of greening, and their functions and forms are not enough to solve the climate problems facing cities in today's social background. This article focuses on the effects of urban micro-renewal and thermal environment on the ecological benefits of green land on old urban settlements, mainly because urban green land,as an important medium for improving urban ecosystems, has gradually been affected by outdoor thermal environment.Attention, but lack of comprehensive and systematic research. As an important part of the urban built environment, old settlements are of great significance to study the impact of their green space on the outdoor thermal environment. Therefore, green space optimization is not only an effective measure to improve the thermal environment, but also a practice of micro-renewal of old residential areas.Through the investigation and analysis of old residential areas, the typical architectural layout and green space layout forms are extracted to form a variety of design schemes, based on the ENVI-met software construction model for numerical simulation to verify, statistical analysis of the different effects of each scheme on the thermal environment. Many studies at home and abroad have shown that, among all meteorological elements, temperature, humidity and wind speed have the greatest impact on human sensation. However, when evaluating the outdoor thermal environment, the surface temperature is also important indicators of the reaction thermal environment. Therefore, these indicators are introduced to quantitatively evaluate the thermal environmental benefits of various programs, and to systematically study and monitor the potential of green space.interest.Since it is relatively difficult for planners to assess the impact of different design schemes on people's comfort and activities in actual projects,it is helpful to study and improve the best green space design schemes to help designers accurately grasp the design configuration during the conceptual design stage.By improving the structure and layout of green spaces in old settlements, improving the quality of outdoor thermal environments, promoting the use of public spaces, and improving the quality of life of urban residents.
