Research On Memorial Landscape Design Based On Place Spirit

In our country,with the development of pepole' life,the pursuit of spirit life has started to attract pepole's attention,for example,the built of some kinds of public cultrual places,the display of various sorts of musums and so on.The memorial hall is popular with the public because of its unique perspective and rich expression.On the one hand,compared to plenty of design indoor,the researcher found the landscape design outdoor is usually neglected,expressionism is stylized,and the commemorative atmosphere of the landscape is not expressed so strongly that it is difficult for the environment to produce a spiritual shock to the viewer.On the other hand,from the analysis and analysis of related academic papers and literature,the author finds that although studies on commemorative landscapes are gradually increasing in recent years,the research content mainly focuses on the exploration of various functional forms.However,the author believes that the commemorative landscape should be a landscape design that integrates viewing,education,experience,and leisure.It needs to have a ideological soul that is consistent with the commemorative theme.The expression of the spirit is the foundation of the commemorative landscape,and it is the promotion of people.The key to interacting with the landscape.This paper is based on the theory of “spirit of place” put forward by Norway scholar Nobleschutz.“Directional Sense” and “Sense of Identity” are two basic attributes of the spirit of the place.The article analyzes the theory of place spirit,and focuses on the direction and identification of two levels,to explore the expression of the spirit of the place,to provide new possibilities for the atmosphere of the monumental landscape.This study emphasizes the relationship between the memorial hall and the surrounding environment,and introduces the concept of place spirit into the overall atmosphere of the monuental landscape.Three cases from home and abroad were selected:the Memorial Hall of the Vietnam War,the Memorial Hall of the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese Invaders,and the Atomic City Education Demonstration Base in Qinghai.From the three aspects of cultural background,identity experience,and design techniques,we will conduct a detailed analysis of how to promote people's sense of identity and direction in the environment.Summarized the mental expression methods of each case and form aconstruction model for the spirit of the place in a specific context.At the end of the article,the theory and practice are linked,and the construction mode of the place spirit concluded is applied to the external landscape reconstruction of the Tianjin Pingjin Campaign Memorial Hall to enhance the overall commemorative atmosphere of the venue and enhance the viewer's interactive experience of the landscape.To realize the spiritual exchange between people and places.
