With the economic and social development,Chinese energy structure is being adjusted,and the number of fuel gas equipment is increasing rapidly,which puts forward higher requirements for the safety detection of fuel gas equipment.Traditional safety detection mainly uses infrared or ultraviolet detectors for flame detection.In this paper,a set of technical equipment for stability detection and temperature measurement of gas flame was developed based on the flame images.Firstly,according to the research purpose,a gas flame test bench and a set of hardware system for flame detection were built,including the burner,combustor,observation window,image fiber,industrial CCD camera and microcomputer.Flames under different combustion conditions were simulated.Then flame images were taken for stability analysis and temperature measurement.This paper chose the appropriate image processing algorithm to process the acquired image,and compiled the image processing program based on MATLAB,including color reconstruction,smoothing filtering and threshold segmentation,and finally obtained the accurate target flame.After that,six characteristic quantities of the target flame,such as flame area,flame height,edge length,flame centroid,luminance center and average gray,were defined and extracted to characterize the state of flame in shape,position and brightness.Then the relationship between flame characteristic quantities and working conditions was analyzed.On the basis of the extracted characteristic quantities,support vector machine(SVM)was applied to train the classifier by using a variety of flames.Then user interface was designed.The classification accuracy of the detection system for testing flame combustion state is more than 99%.In order to make the image flame detection and monitoring system develop toward the market application,this paper also compiles the software based on MFC.After completing flame stability detection,in order to providing reference for optimizing combustion,this paper also reconstructed the temperature field of flame based on image.According to the radiation law and the principle of blackbody calibration,the two-dimensional temperature field of flame was reconstructed.By comparison,it was proved that the temperature measurement is quite accurate.
