The office building of XY Research and Development(R&D)center is the premiere construction project currently being undertaken by the company.The total land area involved is 100,000 square meters,with a overall investment to date of 800 million Yuan.According to the company's long-term planning and development strategy,the most important functions of the new R&D center location are the design and development of the company's new products,the testing of these upcoming designs and the continued enhancement of overall XY project management procedures.In order to express the sense of social responsibility and corporate history of associated with XY's status as a listed company,the R&D center office building will be equipped with museums,libraries,art galleries,traffic safety education materials and gymnasiums.However,the time allocated for the construction of such a feature rich project is only two years.Therefore,in order to keep to this assigned schedule,a deliberate and scientific approach to project management will need to be undertaken.Based on the background context of the XY R&D center project,this thesis analyzed the relationship between the observed progress of the overall endeavor with theoretical project management methodologies and related planning-assistance technologies.In the research on project schedule management of XY company R&D center office building construction,this paper introduces the WBS,the project network map,analyzes the main activity period,and draws the schedule of the project.According to this schedule,the preliminary work of the project is carried out.In terms of schedule optimization,the differences of actual project and project are analyzed based on the executed project content.The critical route method is used to optimize the existing project plan,and the plans before and after the optimization are compared,supplemented by a Gantt chart.In terms of schedule control,the schedule safeguard measures and the hurry measures after the delay of the construction period are detailed to ensure the smooth implementation of the plan.The application of the project schedule management theory and method in the office building of XY R&D Center can ensure that the follow-up project of the project will be completed as planned.
