Connector under Simultaneous Pickup and Delivery ModeWith the continuous progress of urbanization,the phenomenon of urban suburbanization and job-housing separationseparation has become more and more obvious.In order to meet the needs of suburban residents' public transportation,trunk buses,especially urban rail transit has been widely used.However,in suburban districts,the distance between rail transit stations is large,and there is a blank area in public transport services between adjacent stations.In addition,due to low passenger density in urban suburbs and the poor performance of conventional bus operations,there is an urgent need to find a rail transit shuttle bus operation model suitable for low passenger density areas,such as suburban districts.The rapid development of Internet technology has accelerated the industrial integration of the Internet and transportation,and has also bred a new transportation mode of "Online Booking and Offline Travel".DemandResponsive Connector(hereinafter referred to as DRC)is a transportation mode that adopts "Online Booking and Offline Travel" to meet the needs of passengers and provide passengers a new form of public transport for travel services with personalized shuttle buses.DRC not only meets the travel needs of residents,but also has the advantages of low travel costs and high vehicle seat utilization,and it can effectively solve the "last mile" problem of residents travelling in areas with low passenger density areas.However,in the current research on DRC route optimization problems,scholars generally only consider that a vehicle serves a single type of passenger,that is,the vehicle picks up or delivers passengers alone,but they rarely mention the simultaneous pickup and delivery passengers.Therefore,this article will focus on the simultaneous pickup and delivery mode under DRC route optimization problems.Firstly,the connotation and composition of the DRC system are explained.By classifying the service modes of the DRC system,the DRC service mode under the simultaneous pickup and delivery mode is determined.According to the type of spatial and temporal distribution of passenger flows at the transfer point,the selection criteria for different transfer modes are proposed,and the feasibility of DRC under the simultaneous pickup and delivery in low passenger density areas is pointed out.Secondly,analyze the DRC route optimization problems under the single transfer point simultaneous pickup and delivery mode,study the scenario clearly and propose a modeling approach,consider the balance of the interests of both passengers and the public transport enterprise,and establish a single transfer with the goal of maximizing passenger satisfaction and minimizing the operating costs of public transport enterprise.Based on the characteristics of the model,a multi-chain chromosomal genetic algorithm is designed to solve the model.Thirdly,based on the model of single transfer point simultaneous pickup and delivery mode,the effect of joint scheduling between multiple transfer points on passenger satisfaction,the operating costs of public transport enterprise,and vehicle running routes is explored,and a DRC route model under the simultaneous pickup and delivery mode of multiple transfer points is established.The model was solved by using a multi-chain chromosomal genetic algorithm.Finally,taking the residential area near Longhu Road in Changchun as the research object,the model and algorithm in this paper are used to solve the case.The results show that under the same conditions,the operating mode of the simultaneous pickup and delivery mode is superior,and the DRC under the multiple transfer point simultaneous pickup and delivery mode has more advantages in the control of the operating costs of public transport enterprise and passenger satisfaction,which verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of the model.
