This thesis is based on a professional project – Lianhua Temple historical site museum in Yangbao Mountain and consists of two parts.The first part includes the presentation,analysis and technical drawing of the design,and the second part is a themed research focusing on restructuring mountain landscape under the restriction of cultural relics.This research focuses on the design strategy that the historical site museum should take,in the face of the destruction of surrounding environment,under the principle of cultural relics conservation.Firstly,different modes of site-choosing for historical site museum was analyzed.Considering the condition of reality,it is decided that the site should be outside of the historical conservation line.Secondly,the article analyzed the characteristic of traditional Chinese Han Buddha temples on mountains,the local characteristic of Yangbao Mountain temples and the current situation of Lianhua Temple's historical site.A prerequisite for the conservation of relics was established,including minimal interference,site conservation and authenticity,and then an overall design strategy of restructuring mountain landscape was made.Finally,with the application of morphological fitting,material construction and spatial use,the design for Lianhua Temple historical site museum was advanced.The mountain landscape was reconstructed through the fitting of old scene's atmosphere and the creation of new scenery.
