As one of the most severely affected countries by typhoon in the world,China has suffered huge losses.Under the influence of typhoon,the damage of building glass is particularly serious.The common civil glass window,which is mainly composed of float annealed glass plate,is easily damaged under the impact of wind-borne debris caused by typhoon and threatens the safety of life and property of the people inside the building.At the same time,large pieces of sharp glass will be produced,which will cause a lot of losses and secondary injuries to nearby people,leaving hidden dangers.Therefore,it is necessary to study its impact damage and protection methods.Based on this background,this paper studies the impact response,failure mode and mechanism of annealed glass panel used in common civil glass window by combining numerical simulation and impact test,verifies the effectiveness of adhesive protection method,and analyzes the optimized adhesive protection method to guide simple self-protection.Specific research contents include:1.The numerical simulation method of annealed glass plate under impact is established.Using ABAQUS software as the analysis platform,the finite element model is determined,and different constitutive models are selected to describe brittle materials such as glass for comparison,and the sensitivity of crack mode to grid type is analyzed.The experimental device is designed and the impact test of annealed glass plate is carried out.The impact test results are compared with the numerical simulation results to determine the constitutive model and mesh type that can be used to describe the impact of annealed glass plate.2.The failure mode and mechanism of annealed glass plate under impact were studied.The modes and causes of cracks are analyzed by numerical simulation,and six kinds of failure modes are defined according to the different failure states of glass plates.The influences of the area,aspect ratio,thickness and external pressure of the plate on the impact resistance of the plate are analyzed,as well as the influences of the shape,angle and initial kinetic energy of the impactor on the impact performance of the impactor.The most disadvantageous impact angle under different impact attitude and the most disadvantageous impact attitude under different impact angle are explored.3.The commonly used BOPP pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is selected as adhesive protection material,and the finite element model of standard tensile test is established.The constitutive model and relevant parameters which can be used to describe the dynamic performance of BOPP pressure-sensitive adhesive tape are determined by comparing with the existing test results.4.In this paper,the adhesive protection method of simple protection method for ordinary civil glass windows under the action of typhoon is studied.By using the numerical simulation method,with the help of the evaluation parameters such as the change of the failure mode of the plate,the peak value of the impact force at the impact action center,and the energy absorption ratio of the plate,the effectiveness of the gluing protection is verified,and the optimal gluing mode of the gluing protection method is analyzed,and the guiding principles for simple and independent gluing protection are given in combination with the actual situation.
