Recently,with the development of semiconductor manufacturing technology,the application of FPGA has become more and more common.In the field of communication and image processing,FPGA has been widely used as the main control chip.However,with the development of the times,FPGA shows the characteristic of high density,low power consumption and high cost performance,and comparing with a dedicated ASIC chip,parallel computing which is the advantage of FPGA makes it more suitable for complex intelligent control algorithms.As a result,FPGA is beginning to be applied to traditional industrial applications.As we know,high performance servo system based on permanent magnet synchronous motor is limited by traditional control chip,so the real-time performance,expansion and intelligent algorithm adaptability of the servo system can be improved better.For this purpose,the control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor based on FPGA is studied carefully in this thesis.Firstly,mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor is analyzed,by the way the coordinate transformation and control equations are introduced in detail,after comparing several common control strategies,the vector control algorithm based on space vector pulse width modulation is selected as the motor control algorithm implemented in FPGA,which is simulated in Matlab/Simulink.Secondly,the double closed loop vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor is programmed in FPGA,by using the top-down design method,dividing the closed-loop control system into separate modules,such as Cordic module,SVPWM module,speed measuring mdoule,theta calculating modoule and AD control module.For every module,the thesis shows how to design,simulate and vertifies the function.Finally,in this thesis,the hardware platform of permanent magnet synchronous motor control system based on FPGA is built,and the experimental analysis and verification are carried out.In the implementation,the selection of FPGA chip was firstly completed,on this basis,AD interface conversion circuit,encoder signal processing circuit and overcurrent protection circuit are designed.Experimental analysis was carried out,which shows the system has certain excellentness.
