The city is the concentration place of all sorts of social and economic activities.Rational planning,development and utilization of urban space can maximize economic efficiency.As the main link of resource exchange among cities,the traffic plays a significant role in raising economic efficiency of cities.In recent years,China's high-speed railway has entered a period of rapid construction and urbanization has entered a period of rapid development.During this period,China's high-speed railway plays an important role in promoting the urbanization process,especially the impact of high-speed railway on urban space structure needs to be scientifically evaluated and calculated.This paper,on the basis of fully reference previous research,systematically teased and analyzed the influence paths and ways and their differences of high-speed railway on urban space structure system.ArcGIS and remote sensing technology were used to extract data of land use of cities along the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway in Hebei province.The barycenter model and the graph comparison are used to analyze the urban population distribution and the change of urban land use type.And the following results are obtained:(1)The opening of high-speed railway can enhance the attractiveness of the surrounding population and facilitate the movement of population center of gravity towards the stations,thus changing the urban population distribution and industrial layout,and affecting the urban spatial structure;(2)In the process of continuous agglomeration of population and industry,more land resources are needed to undertake,The opening of high-speed railways has promoted the expansion of urban and rural areas,industrial and mining,and residential land to high-speed railway stations,changing the type of urban land use;(3)The impact of high-speed rail stations on the spatial structure of cities of different scales has little effect on the urban spatial structure of large-scale cities or economically developed cities and small cities,and has a significant impact on medium-sized cities;(4)The impact of high-speed rail on urban spatial structure is different depending on the location of the high-speed rail station.The high-speed rail station is located within the city center or more than 5 kilometers away from the city center.Its dominant role is difficult to play out,attracting the surrounding population and the type of land use.The changes are not obvious,and the impact on the urban spatial structure is not significant;the high-speed rail stations located in the urban fringe areas can give full play to the advantages of the site and optimize the urban spatial structure;(5)The impact of high-speed rail stations on urban spatial structure has a diminishing effect.Generally,within 10 km around the high-speed railway station,the impact of high-speed rail on urban population and land use types is obvious,thus changing the urban spatial structure;20 km or more around the site.Within the scope,the role of high-speed rail will gradually weaken.
