In recent years,EPC general contracting mode of electric power engineering has gradually become a mode that many owners will take into account when implementing project construction.Electric power project has the characteristics of large investment scale,complex structure and many external links.EPC general contract mode combines design,procurement and construction.Project schedule management is the core content of EPC general contracting project management of electric power engineering.The Critical Chain mainly refers to the more effective and scientific project schedule management mode developed on the basis of the critical path.This management mode fully takes into account the impact of resource constraints and resource uncertainties on project engineering.Therefore,compared with traditional planned projects,the critical chain control mode has more advantages.This paper analyses the research status of project schedule management at home and abroad,and combined with the characteristics of EPC general contracting project of power engineering,analyses the significance of schedule management in general contracting project management.In order to fundamentally promote the level of project schedule management to be effectively improved,it is necessary to take targeted measures from all aspects and perspectives.The fundamental purpose of doing so is to promote the enterprise's own ability to be effectively enhanced,but also to promote the continuous progress and development of enterprises.This paper takes the progress of EPC general contracting project of electric power engineering as the research object,introduces the critical chain technology into the project schedule management,constructs the EPC general contracting project schedule management model based on the critical chain method in the aspects of process duration,resource demand,logical relationship with other related processes,safety time and risk elasticity coefficient,and defines the current EPC project schedule management office.Meanwhile,it puts forward some effective measures to strengthen EPC project schedule management.Then the LY photovoltaic power plant project is taken as an example to verify the model.It is found that the application of critical chain theory in EPC project schedule management of power engineering effectively reduces working time and improves working efficiency,which has a certain practical value.The scientific and rational use of critical chain technology in EPC general contracting project of power engineering can not only realize the effective management of EPC project schedule of the whole power engineering,but also ensure the effectiveness of the whole power engineering project in the construction and specific application process.It is hoped that the efficiency of schedule management of EPC projects in China can be further improved on the basis of the existing ones.
