In recent years,flight delay has become increasingly serious,which affects the development of civil aviation.Flight delay is not only an independent effect,but also affects other related flights and airports through the air transport network.It results in a large range of flight delay.This paper takes research on the advance control of flight delay,i.e.on controlling propagated delay in flight schedule,which has great scientific significance and application prospects for improving flight normal rate.Starting from the concept of delay control,this paper systematically studies the optimization management of air transportation management,and preliminarily constructs flight schedule optimization methods for controlling delay.Firstly,the correlation between flight delay and influencing factors is studied.K-means clustering and CHAID decision tree algorithm are used to predict flight delay,which can provide advance reference for subsequent flight schedule prediction.Then,total flight delay is divided into two parts: independent delay and propagated delay,and their calculation methods are proposed.In the follow-up,two flight schedule optimization models are proposed to reduce propagated delay.Firstly,we propose a slack time reallocation model based on propagated delay.A propagated delay tree is constructed to adjust slack time in order to absorb delay without redundancy as far as possible.This method basically does not need to change the decision-making of the fleet and crew,so the cost of this method is very low.The second method is the study of aircraft routing optimization based on propagated delays.By adjusting the aircraft routing,we can achieve pre-control of flight delay.Then the column generation algorithm is used to solve the problem,which can solve aircraft routing in daily flight schedule.
