Located in the Loess Plateau of western Henan,Shanzhou is affiliated to Sanmenxia City,Henan Province. It is the birthplace of the traditional settlements of the unique pits in China. The settlement of the Dikengyuan is a unique form of architecture in the Loess Plateau of China. It relies on the unique natural ecological environment of the Loess Plateau—the thick loess layer and the terraced landforms of the Qianggou, and inherits and promotes China. The "hole-filling" culture of ancient times formed a traditional settlement of the Dikengyuan, which is different from other traditional settlement forms. Its unique architectural form,long-standing cultural origins and ecological creation concepts that are compatible with the surrounding natural ecological environment are all needed to protect research. From the perspective of rural ecology, this paper uses the relevant theoretical methods in rural ecology to study the settlement of the pits from a holistic and systematic perspective.Research on the pattern, cultural characteristics and landscape layout of the ground settlements, combined with the basic viewpoints of rural ecology and the three theoretical systems: system-balance wheel,cycle-regeneration theory,adaptation-symbiosis theory Analyze and study the formation, development, evolution and maturity of the settlements of the pits, and explore the interference and balance, adaptation and symbiosis between the subsystems in the settlement ecosystem. The first part of the thesis mainly expounds the research topic, analyzes the relevant research results, formulates the research methods and research frameworks. The second part expounds the relevant theoretical methods of rural ecology, introduces the research methods related to its three theoretical foundations and the ecology at home and abroad. The results of the settlement construction;the third part analyzes the natural ecological environment, social ecological environment, settlement space ecological environment of the settlement of the pits, analyzes the problems and related causes of the settlements, and adopts the theoretical analysis of rural ecology. The framework of the community system of the pits and settlements;the fourth part analyzes the formation, development, evolution and stability of the settlements of the pits from the previous research and analysis and the relevant theories of rural ecology;the fifth part combines the protection of traditional settlements in China. The relevant principles propose a certain strategy for the protection and development of the pits and settlements in the theoretical way of rural ecology. The sixth part studies the protection and reuse of the pits and settlements through the design practice of the protection and development plan of Nangou Village;According to the theory and practice research, the concept of "ecological design concept" is put forward.Provide certain theoretical guidance for the design of modern architecture and traditional settlement.
